Vacation rentals with a patio in Broadmeadow

Rose's apartment ticked all the boxes for our recent stay in Newcastle. The apartment was pristine clean, light filled and very comfortable. And its location is the best in Newcastle, with short walks to Darby St, Bar Beach, Hunter Street and the Cricketers Arms literally just around the corner (a bonus surprise and perfect for that relaxing post activity schooner in the afternoon). As regular interstate visitors to Newcastle we have stayed in Port Stephens, Merewether, Honeysuckle and Hunter Street but Cooks Hill generally and Rose's apartment specifically is the pick of Newcastle locations. It is also simple and easy to get to from Newcastle Airport. Thank you Rose for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment and we have now found our 'go to' apartment for our future stays, of which there will be many.

Loved this place. The space was and had everything we needed for a few days visiting friends nearby with our 4 year old - photos don't do justice to how nice it is! Great having a few good shops and cafes just outside too.

The most amazing airbnb with the most incredible view of the sea. We woke up to the sound of waves with a coffee on the balcony watching the surfers and dolphins followed by a dip in the sea. We will be back

Beautiful studio- like apartment - lovely furniture and balcony and very comfy bed. Bianca was very despair and have great local recommendations! Loved the availability of acar spot in the garage as parking is hard to find around the area!

10/10 apartment, 10/10 service. Truly so so impressed with this place and at how wonderful and accommodating Nicole was, quickly responding to our every ask. Not to mention the decor is so beautiful. Maree’s place was just what us as a couple needed. Newly refurbished but felt homely and was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook and enjoy the experience. The outdoor area was large and had glimpses of the water. A small walk took you to the lake. Maree supplied snacks, breakfast and fruit and other staples that we were not expecting and were very grateful for. The bed was really comfortable and ceiling fans kept us cool as well. Mike was an amazing host! He was responsive and kind enough to assist with early check in on the day. The space itself is exactly as shown in the pictures. Amazing facilities offered by the building+the location! Highly recommend.

Amy’s place was amazing and exactly as described. It was so clean we thought it had just been renovated, not a spot anywhere. Everything was well kept in cupboards, the beds were made really well and rooms really tidy. The living areas were well presented and the bathrooms looked and smelled clean with fresh towels on the beds. The kitchen was also fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s in a great location only 10 minute drive from Newcastle, the beaches and restaurants and the residential area is very quiet at night. Amy is also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely return if we are visiting Newcastle again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay! Ola and Barn truly thought of every detail, making our experience so much more enjoyable. The kids’ room was a highlight—complete with a toy box full of hours of entertainment! We even had beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the house that made the holiday extra special. It felt like they went above and beyond to create a welcoming, thoughtful space for our entire family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, from all sorts of plates and dishes for our antipasto platter to even the tiniest things you might forget—like a screwdriver! We were so grateful for that, especially when we realized we needed it to add batteries to the kids’ Christmas presents. The little touches made all the difference, and it felt like the hosts were truly invested in ensuring we had a perfect stay. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, thoughtful, and well-equipped getaway! Thank you Ola & Barn!

A great little riverside hideaway! The cute little 2 bedroom home had everything we needed. Next time we’ll try and stay for at least 2 nights

The location is great, place is clean and modern. Street parking was a bit tricky on a sunny weekend as it is minutes from the beach, but we managed.

Fantastic Stay – 5/5 We had an amazing time at Morrad’s place. The highlight of our stay was definitely the kayak, which allowed us to explore and truly enjoy the area. What made it even better was that we could bring our pet along, making the trip even more special! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway!
