This place is amazing! The house is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. We saw deer, a fox, and of course the horses, Chutes & Raisin who love eating carrots. The entire area is beautiful and Gainesville is a surprisingly hip town with a ton of great dining options. We’ll be booking again the next time we’re in the area. We can’t wait to return!

Staying at Jill & Bert’s place is like visiting the home of long-lost cousins – & that is how you are treated. They bend over backwards to make sure you feel at home in their charming, historic house. We were greeted by fresh-baked cookies & fresh flowers. You will find books, art & travel mementos in every nook & cranny. Our 3-generation group of 8 had all the space we needed with 2 sleeping spaces & 2 bathrooms on the first floor & 4 sleeping spaces & 2 bathrooms on the second floor. We did not have any issues with the other renters on the property, but were glad that Jill told us of their presence when we arrived, as we did hear an occasional thump from that side of the house or car door closing. The kitchen had all the space we needed to cook a holiday meal & the dining room had ample room for enjoying it. Jill even showed us where to find extra table linens to make it more festive. We loved having access to the hot tub and being able to walk to dinner one evening.

We rented Mark's place for our anniversary, and it did not disappoint. We wanted to be close to Atlanta Airport and Amicalola Falls. Mark's cabin is in the middle!!! The cabin was just like Mark described. He was extremely responsive to all of our emails and even the first call we made when we arrived and did not see the cabin from the road. It was our fault we didn't follow his directions and drive down the hill. We enjoyed the fireplace and the lake views. Didn't have time to take in the jacuzzi due to weather, but I'm sure we would've loved it. One note of caution. If you have mobility concerns, you might have to find a way to navigate the very narrow spiral staircase that leads to the master suite, second bedroom, and laundry room by going outside and around. That was a bit difficult but not a deal breaker for us. We loved the place and will definitely be back.

Our family had a great time in the peaceful setting of Down at the Farm. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and relaxing in and around the pool. The host was very friendly and welcoming. A great place to create family memories.

The house is largest on the street .. plenty of space she allowed early check in so I was able to make my events that evening. Bed extremely comfortable still had privacy in my bed room away from rest of the house . Outside hot tub was an extra plus she didn’t charge extra for hot tub . Yard is huge love. I will definitely rebook when I come back . Thank you

This was an amazing experience. I started communicating with John 13 months before my sons wedding to stay there plus host a large rehearsal dinner. ( it grew to 80 people!). John allowed - welcomed me- to come see the property to check out the layout for what I needed giving my caterer information and planning for our stay. I needed to move furniture and a few other things and when I asked John if it was ok, his reply was, “it’s your house”, and I truly felt that way. It was comfortable and allowed for my family to stay and as we had a few revolving guests, John provided extra linens. The rehearsal dinner was on a hot August night and I had told folks to bring a bathing suit. Several of the bridal party and friends jumped in! The animals were fun and when a few of the kitties jumped in the car when we were leaving we were tempted to steal them! Our caterer for that dinner and a farewell brunch lived the set up of this place as well. I honestly cannot recommend it enough! Thanks John!

Karen's place was a perfect getaway in the woods. It's located midway between Helen and Dahlonega which makes it perfect. Karen was very welcoming and responsive. Would love to come back to her place again.

We were Lake Claire neighbors of Kelly’s and decided to treat ourselves to her cottage while we moved. What a delightful respite from the hectic moving process! Like us, you’ll find the accommodation perfect for a couple. On a quiet street in a highly sought after neighborhood, this relaxing and comfortable cottage is well appointed—good kitchen and bath with a sunny screened porch as well. We hope you find it as enjoyable as we did.

Great place, I have a lifted truck so it was pretty tight but normal cars will be perfectly fine. A lot of parking and very nice home!!

I have stayed in many Airbnb this year, and Doo’s house is one of my top places. The house is spacious and clean. I also appreciated that the house was stocked with so many household items. I also liked that each room had a television in it. The Airbnb was cozy and peaceful.

This stay was everything in a perfect spot for everything we needed to be around. Will be back for another stay!

I am a professional female who travels to Decatur often for business, family and was a previous host myself. Dawn’s place is a gem, a perfect place to unwind, feel safe and at home. Impeccable, cozy and private. The bed is extremely comfortable, the living room and decor felt nestled in a little cabin, instant hot water and wonderful shower. Dawn was very accommodating, quick to reply with friendly communication. The location for my needs was perfect. Walkable to my favorite locally owned restaurants I frequent when in Decatur. David's basement was as described and is in a private quiet area. Plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. David's girlfriend, Sandi, was extremely accommodating and would check in on me periodically to ask what would make my stay better. The hosts are very communicative and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean and peaceful home away from home.

We did an extended stay. The place is fantastic! Exactly as described, plenty of space and all the amenities you need to feel at home. Super comfortable beds and the patio overlooking the pool was a great spot for outdoor meals. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a longer stay!

Everything was as described. Directions were clear, location was convenient to Stone Mountain, grocery shopping, restaurants, etc. We took the side roads as much as possible because it was so nice to see the surrounding hills and foliage. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. I would particularly note that my husband slept so soundly and woke without any back or neck pain, which is usually an issue for him when we travel. The black out curtains made it possible to sleep longer than we normally would, which was great! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Atlanta area.

We had a small family meet up here to attend a football game at Reinhardt University. It was a perfect spot. We had plenty of space for everyone. Beautiful scenery. Kitchen was fully stocked. We had a great time. We would definitely book this place again.

Only minutes away from Athens via scenic country roads. Easy access. Presumably the pool house of the host but felt private and actually never saw anyone else. Was a fall visit so didn’t use the pool though pool area looked fun.

Carla is awesome just like her rental. Great host Great location and great place. Will definitely be staying again. Carla made us feel at home. highly recommend this place.

Terri was a wonderful host. She gave us hiking and restaurant ideas and was accommodating to our 1 year old who can be a handful. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Big Canoe.
