Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Brakel

What a fantastic place to stay! The house is more spacious than expected. We have a pleasant weekend here with 8 adult friends. Spacious garden with lots of sun and large terrace. All slept well and what a great practical bathroom!

Beautiful, cozy cottage. Very clean and everything you need is available. Good location for trips to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp. Lies greeted us in a very friendly way and gave good tips for things to do. We highly recommend the stay.

Our stay at Katia’s house was great. She was very responsive and helpful prior to arrival to make it easy to check in, and communicated during our stay to check in if we needed anything. We enjoyed the area and it is an easy and safe walk to the tram which leads to the city center. We had a nice stay in Ghent and recommend Katia’s place!

The house is beautiful, big space, cozy beds, super clean, well equipped. The place is very quiet, but with lots of shops and restaurant nearby, within car reach. Gineke was a perfect host, gave us lots of infos and assistance. We had a great stay.

Great value for money for the area. Comfortable and very clean accommodation. Some personal belongings from the owner and his family that give the impression of a living home. Recommended

Mieke, her family, and of course their dog, are great! They really went above and beyond for us on our first trip to Belgium. Giving us ideas for activities and tips on transport, they are the perfect hosts. The AirBnb is exactly as described and more. It’s easy to get to Bruges, a short walk to Oostkamp central bus stop near the church and the 20 line, a great location for a city break. Thank you, Mieke, we hope to return again soon!

We had a great time in this beautiful and refined apartment. We appreciated the beauty of the place, the light, the quality of the amenities, the warm atmosphere that reigns there, the beautiful garden, the calm of this street and this so endearing neighborhood. In short, leaving the premises was difficult!

3 of us seniors from Ireland stayed here. The number 63 bus is two minute walk and also a convenience store. 63 bus takes you straight to and from central station Brussels. Bus was never crowded. Amaury was a very helpful host, he advised us on where to visit. He answered all my many questions patiently and quickly. The apartment was bright and clean with just basic bedroom furniture. The kitchen is well equipped and living area is lovely. The apartment is on floor 3. There are two lifts but it’s not a difficult climb. Travel for seniors is €8.30 return on any journey inside Belgium provided you return the same day. We explored Brussels, we visited Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain, Namur, Dinant and Mechelen in the 7 days. The trains were spotless and never overcrowded. The cream on the cake was when our MEP Ciaran Mullooly brought us on a 3 hour tour of the European Parliament. Thanks again to Amaury for his kindness and helpful ways. We had a wonderful visit to Belgium

Nice and cosy appartments. Lots of all things essential for staying. Said was always in touch, helped and communicated well. Not far from the centre, 30 min walking distance.

We greatly enjoyed the neat, complete chalet of Elena and Jasper in a beautiful green area. Communication was perfect and questions were answered very quickly. If you want to get out and unwind, we highly recommend this chalet! If you want to look up the hustle and/or shop for a day, with half an hour you are in Antwerp or Ghent with the nicest boutiques and delicious restaurants. Many thanks!

Very welcoming and understanding host, the accommodation was nice. The environment is quiet and peaceful, Karolien is very concerned and always reassures himself if everything is ok for his guests. It was a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our small vacation a lot! There were lots of things to engage with and it was great to get away for a few days.

Fabulous accommodation in a country setting with modern amenities including full; functional kitchen; bathroom with full force shower; in a quiet area and only one mile from main rail system and buses. Transport system provided easy access for me to Ghent; a charming historic city with a youthful vibe and one of the major university cities in BELGIUM. For me ; visits included BRUGGE and Antwerp as well; Museum MAs is a don’t miss destination in ANTWERP; volumes have been written about BRUGGE; though I preferred the self guided walking tours; very resourceful tourist center in Brugge; walking tour APP is fabulous; for history and details. GHENT is the city I spent most of my time~ Cathedral Bavo; Castle; great City Museum ; walking tour ; fabulous Modern Art Museum, great ethnic food. My hosts were very generous, in that I had access to a bicycle; a real plus in Eeklo; there are great cycling areas ; hosts can point them out to you: plus a collection of maps for cycle enthusiasts.
