Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Bowling Green

Very cute house! Great amenities! We had a wonderful time playing games and hanging out in the backyard.

This was just a magical little place. My husband and I and our two teens all loved it. We only stayed two nights but spent them both by the outdoor fireplace, and I spent the mornings reading on the porch swings. We loved the pond with its bullfrogs and teeny tadpoles. The house is charmingly decorated and landscaped, and there are lots of thoughtful touches, like park maps, area guides, and bug spray (which we didn’t need in mid-April but I’m sure will be helpful later in the year). The bed linens were nice and bath towels were super soft and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is very close to the entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park - I think it took us about 10-15 minutes to reach the Visitors Center. We will absolutely stay again if we’re in the area!!

I cannot say enough about this place! My family of 4 came to stay for a few nights and we could not be more pleased with this lakefront cottage. The views alone make the stay worthwhile…. a cup of coffee (or wine) on that porch was my favorite thing to do. We had lots of fun at the caves and zip-lining with the kids, but it was so nice to come back to such a cozy place. The decor is beautiful and functional. We had everything we needed and would stay here again! Our host was also amazing. She proactively shared details ahead of time so we knew just what to bring and what to expect. Check-in was a breeze. We even had a strong storm come through and knock out the power for an hour or two, but our host was in contact with us and set clear expectations of what to expect. If you’re headed to Mammoth Cave or just want a beautiful, relaxing lakefront cottage to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place is perfection!

Fourth time here at Stoney Hollow. As always it was the relaxation I needed to clear the mind. This place helps me in more ways than just being a place to stay. Nikki and her husband always make you feel like you have space and are so nice if you need anything. My boyfriend and I had the best weekend and the best weather. Couldn't have asked for a better two nights.

Wonderful time and experience. Even though its off a state highway, the property is far enough back that you dont see or hear the road. Neighbors are within sight but very far away through trees. It was nice a secluded for us. Beautiful scene to wake up to and eat breakfast on the deck. Lots of space to enjoy and play games outside. Plenty of room as well. Plenty of beds and rules are clearly outlined and reminded. A lot of tools and things to use within the house so we didn't need much for cooking and grilling. Only issue is the backyard is to a downward slant so any games needing flat ground like cornhole, its a bit rough to find but interesting. Our Host was excellent in letting us know if we needed anything. Keeping us involved. He kept us updated on the local flooding so we knew what we were to expect. He also let us know he had to come over for some work on the property. Didnt bother us but just let us know he was there. Great experience, would definitely come back.

Missy’s outta this world diner surpassed our expectations. When we arrived in the evening we were greeted by the owners very friendly and adorable pup Booger. We got inside her place seamlessly. Once inside, we were nearly overwhelmed with all the fun/nostalgic memorabilia. All the cool things on the walls and from the roof was its own form of entertainment, when you look around you find something cool and new. The kitchenette area is quaint with everything you need. You get your ice and drinking water from the soda fountain machine which was so fun. The bedroom where nice and very comfy beds! I will note that the ceiling is open over the bedrooms and you can hear your other guests and the ice machine in the kitchen. I actually, liked the ice machine sounds, made for a great white noise. Bathrooms were fulling stocked with all the essentials and the mens room had a urinal, this was an unexpected luxury for the men on this trip! Lastly the grounds were beyond beautiful. 10/10 Stars

We loved it here lots of land for the kids to play and be loud and wild like kids should be. Also very peaceful and beautiful country settings we will be back!

Vicki was the sweetest !! Very accommodating, made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again
