We had such a good time at the Bigfin. Staff was super kind, food was delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. We had stormy weather the entire week but we didn't mind, it's also a great place to relax. Saddening though to see how much plastic washes up at the shores :(

Easy to follow check-in instructions are highly appreciated! The windows could use some cleaning in the near future but besides that the room was fine, clean and met our expectations. I can recommend to stay here for having an uncomplicated stay!

Just wow. Having been traveling for quite some time I was amazed to find such great value with so many thoughtful touches. Absolutely loved the hotel, but the service and hospitality is even better. My room was stunning and the bed was very comfy!

I never expected Kudat to have such amazing villas. Serendipity is a beachfront villa with 4 tastefully furnished luxurious rooms. Our spacious room was located upstairs with a really comfortable bed, dressing table, tv, day bed, fan, adequate lighting and two air conditioners. The room has a big sea-facing balcony which is perfect for yoga and night photography to capture the stars and Milky Way. However, it can get pretty hot in the afternoon as there is direct sunlight into the room. This villa is very exclusive, quiet and serene. You will truly enjoy this place with its own swimming pool and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and not to mention the ‘private’ beach with stunning sunsets. And oh, the beach cabana is a keeper!!! Phone reception is non-existence but WiFi is available in the vicinity (however signal is poor in the rooms upstairs). Bring your own ingredients to cook unless you want to drive out for meals or cater from the management. Nearest restaurants are about 10-15 mins away to the Tip of Borneo, or about 20km to town. This place is part of the Kudat Riviera exclusive villas, which is very well maintained. Every morning their workers are seen cleaning up the beach and gardens. Definitely worth a visit to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Kota Kinabalu city. I do hope this place remains well-kept and not lose its charm as more people start to discover this hidden gem..

The location is about 10 minutes from the pier by car, there is a free shuttle bus to and from, just that the front desk contact is not very smooth in English, we called the dock for a long time and after waiting for a long time, we went to dinner for more than 20 minutes before responding to the phone, after calling the car back.Apart from communicating about the shuttle, everything else is fine.Public toilets and baths, both acceptable.The price is here.Sleep only, you can choose island hopping during the day, the price is the biggest advantage

We stayed at Serendipity for 5 days, with my family of 3 teenaged kids. We loved the ocean and the pool and Rosie's cooking. You definately need a car to get around, the supermarket and bank is 40 minutes drive. In the neighborhood there are some small, charming restaurants. And we drove in the morning to the fish market, and in the evening it was put on the BBQ. Loved it! We recommend the place, it is quiet and beautiful.

Three beds in the family room, in fact, can sleep five or six people because there are two double beds.In addition to the bathroom is a little small, the book comes from the filter shower. I found that the host's water heater is filtered, which is very good.10 minutes walk from Faima Pier and three minutes from super good dozo.

Clean and cozy, big balcony, it felt good to stay!Boss is from Jiangsu, very nice!Can help arrange sea fishing, island hopping, etc., the price is absolutely affordable!There are no rooms to take photos with a few great views!
