What a great house and location! My sisters met here to celebrate a birthday and had the best time. Appreciated the amenities, cozy blankets, and comfortable beds. We loved the beautiful sunrise mornings and had some cocktails on the dock one afternoon. Easy to get to the Creeper Trail and other fun spots. We loved eating at Jack’s and shopping the Antique Barn. Leslie was a terrific host and we hope to come again!

All our company from kids to adults love the place, we did not want to leave! The place is beautiful, incredible and peaceful view on the lake. The house has everything you need, very clean. The area has many things to do you don’t need to go anywhere else. There are a lot of attractions around. The place is perfect! I want to thank Mark for the updates after the hurricane Helena, he was very caring. We will come back one day!

The view of the lake is beautiful and the house is very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We felt right at home as soon as we pulled up. Just like it was described and it felt like you were coming home. it was welcoming, clean and the view of the Doe River couldn't be beat. I would definitely recommend Teresa's home and I hope to be able to come back again.

Robert's place was a great spot. really fun house with plenty of space to hang out near the water. includes some grills and a great bar spot outside. overall really fun place

What a great place! Wonderful area and very relaxing. They have thought about everything you could need for a comfortable stay. JD was very responsive and helpful with lots of great recommendations about things to do! We stayed in the summer and it was close to a lot of things to do. Beds were extremely comfortable as well which is unusual in a Airbnb. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay! The place felt very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are a bit small and odd. But other than that, the place was great and we had everything we needed to feel at home!

So let’s start this adventure off by saying how well and thorough everything was explained at the time of booking. The recommendations to the walking trials. Extremely helpful and in depth. The home is lovely and everything your family will need to have a peaceful experience. Here are some tips from us. 1. Eat at the Italian place in Banner Elk (Sorrento’s). Unreal food and ambience. 2. Go hiking on some of the trails, they truly are spectacular. Inside the house they have a map and experience level that you can see. 3. The sunsets over the mountains are unreal. Find a spot and just relax 4. Use the fire pit by the creek. Honestly this was my favorite part. Roasting marshmallows and heating the creek running… Peaceful Lastly. We live an extremely busy lifestyle with owning a business and sports. This house and area let us throw out all stress and relax. So thank you!

Love the house! Perfect spot to come visit the area with LOTS to do very close by. The house was small but perfectly set up that it did not feel that way at all. Plenty of space to hang out and relax after a long day hiking and exploring.

Great location on the lake. House was well equipped with bedding, kitchen supplies, etc. Parking is small so if you have a large vehicle you won’t be able to fit another vehicle.

We had a lovely 10 day stay at this beautiful mountain/farmhouse oasis. We were in town working on picking up our foster child. This home was the perfect retreat for our family of 4 soon to be 5! The Mountain View’s are breathtaking, the home was just as described. Spacious, clean, comfortable beds, loved the large windows and soaking tub. We brought our 12 lb dog and we really appreciated the fenced in back yard. One thing I would keep in mind is the mountain roads. We got used to them, but there is a steep driveway with a blind spot. We just turned right out of the property and then turned around at a cute local coffee shop (owner was so nice and appreciative of our foster situation). Very cute mountain retreat! We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

I cannot say enough good things about this house! We had 2 families, 9 total and there was plenty of room for us all. The house was beautiful inside and out. The shower pressure was great, towels were soft, beds were comfy, and the fireplace was awesome! The hot tub and game room just added to the fun! We hope to be able to return one day!

Stayed with my 2 children and had a wonderful time. The cottage has all the amenities listed and Linville Land Harbor had plenty to do between the lake, pool, trails and fishing. It is a short drive to grandfather mountain and Blue Ridge Parkway as well. Danielle was super responsive and supplied plenty of information before ourl arrival.

The Spruce Pine is a really cool place. We were looking for an AirBandB that would accommodate our entire family and it did so easily. My son and his fiance were getting married at Wisemans View and Jennifer's place was convenient to that location. The Spuce Pine is also in a neighborhood that has an HOA so everything is very controlled and safe. We grilled out, had a fire in the fire pit, played Miss Pac Man on the classic video machines in the basement and had a wonderful time with our family. Jennifer is a very responsive host and keeps the Spruce Pine in excellent condition. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Cozy retreat in beautiful area of the High Country. Close to golf courses and Blue Ridge parkway hiking.

We enjoyed our stay. Braxton was very helpful with our dates when we ran into a snag. My one and only concern is that the front step is steep but if you use the sliding door someone with walking issues will be fine to get in and out. The basement was great with the ping pong table lots of fun was had!

We love this house. Clean, spacious, private, and gorgeous views. We could sail our 27’ Catalina right up to the dock with ease. Lots of great meals and memories were made!

The cabin was all we had hoped for to create a memorable winter holiday vacation. It was entirely clean and everybody had comfortable room accommodations with enough freshly made beds, plus an outdoor hot tub, smart TVs, games and entertainment for all. It was simply bad luck that the stove/oven stopped working as we were trying to cook a feast for Christmas Eve. Nevertheless, repair service was sent immediately despite the holiday and a solution was presented. At this point, it didn’t matter as everybody had been truly enjoying the cabin stay especially with a ski resort nearby and being able to come home every time to a warm hot tub to soak into. All’s well that ends well! Kudos to The Blue Ridge Rental management and the Airbnb host as they were communicative the entire time for any questions/needs. For a family with young or grown children wanting to have a completely fun and comfortable winter cabin experience, this place is very highly recommended. It’s also dog-friendly.
