The Cabanon is a Provence stone build studio, part of the historical house called "La Cure" on the highest elevation point of Menerbes . Located on the second floor facing southwest, you'll access it using an outside stone stair from the garden on the ground floor. Old fashioned but well maintained. It offer a breathtaking view on the Luberon and a most relaxing environment for a few days of peace. Since April this year "La Cure (Historical Guesthouse)" is also available for booking on Airbnb.

The house itself is worth seeing. It's the narrowest house I know over three floors. But it is full and very well equipped. As a family of 5, we still had plenty of room. Many small refinements were retrofitted, such as a motion sensor that illuminates the stairs at night. Camille is a very friendly host who prepared a breakfast with homemade baguette for us. The air mattress is a cot that my daughter, who slept on it, described as comfortable. Parking is available right in front of the house.

I kept starting this review and getting lost for words! David and Karen's place is nothing less than perfect. The moment you enter the property through the olive tree lined driveway you are met with some of the most stunning views I have ever seen and it only gets better from there. The entire property is so thoughtfully designed that every way you turn your head you see beauty. The infinity pool is unbelievably relaxing and getting to meet and chat with the other guests was such a joy. Sitting on the balcony off of our room and watching the sky change in the evening was peaceful and magical. The only thing better than the property is David and Karen's hospitality. Before we arrived they made dinner reservations for us at what wound up being one of our favorite meals in all of France (go to L'Estrade!) Every morning we were met with the most incredible breakfast with homemade jams, yogurts, pastries, and local fruits. They are such kind people who are clearly passionate about their home and village. To say it was a pleasure would be an understatement. We feel truly lucky to have gotten to stay and look forward to returning!

Diane's place is a real Airbnb... it's her own with a soul, a lived, a joyful and beautiful clutter that she shares, in her readings, in her musical tastes... A haven of peace, oasis of freshness in this small garden where everything grows... Breakfast with birdsong, evening with its cats and board games... This place is like the elegant Chartreuse de Villeneuve, very close next door. We are not looking for the foil, the high standard but a sobriety, a simplicity and a history.

What a special property! The apartment is not only comfortable and spacious, it looks like a castle inside! The breakfast each morning was incredible and included fresh eggs from the chickens who live on the property. The pool is absolutely amazing - we spent countless hours enjoying the sun and water. It is a great home base for exploring the towns of Provence/Luberon! Excellent restaurants and wine tasting are nearby. Shower is strong with lots of hot water and the beds are comfortable.
