My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed at Amanda's for a week stay. It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and cozy on a beautiful lake. Having access to kayaks canoe, paddle boat made the stay great, along with the hot tub was a great bonus. The cottage instructions were helpful to better plan the trip, and Amanda and Cindy were very responsive. A lovely stay for some rest and relaxation with family.

An absolutely charming and simple haven on the magnificent Madawaska River. Hugh is a perfect host.

The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

Andi and Hayden are great hosts and the space was perfect for us (3 couples). The farmhouse is beautifully decorated, with a fantastic kitchen and comfy beds, and we enjoyed the hot tub and all of the little extras, like robes and breakfast fixings. Thanks again!

My group and I had an incredible stay at Eze’s place. The cottage is even better than the pictures! Truly couldn’t have asked for a better place for my sister’s Bachelorette weekend. Easy check-in and check-out process. Would highly recommend and will look to book again in the future!

We had such an amazing time at Chris and Graham's beautiful cottage. They had everything we needed and it was such a peaceful, quiet spot on beautiful Baptiste Lake. They were very responsive with our questions and were accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. We would love to come back one day :)

Aileen's place was immaculate and well maintained. The pellet stove warms up the entire place perfectly and the view from the windows (especially the snow) was amazing! only 5 minutes to Bancroft and the guidebook was helpful in deciding what to do and where to eat. Would definitely stay here again

We had an amazing two-night stay at Sue’s cabin. It’s a wonderfully secluded spot, offering plenty of peace and privacy. The cabin has an outhouse for the bathroom and a cozy firepit nearby. There’s also a great trail that leads to a private deck on the lake, where you’ll find a canoe, paddle boat, and life jackets ready for use. Sue was an exceptional host, very responsive and welcoming. She made sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived, giving us all the details we needed about the property and what to expect. If you’re looking for a unique getaway and a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect spot. One tip: bring bug spray, as there are a few bugs around.

We all had a great time at Christie’s Cottage. We spent most of our time at the lake because of the view and water activities that you can do there. Also, Christie is easy to communicate and answer all my questions promptly. A real cottage experience! We will be back for longer stay!

Log cabin in the middle of the Canadian nature, with with well functioning wifi. The best of two worlds. The Host was super friendly and very helpful with tips of where to go to experience what we had come to the area to see (beautiful fall colors and some nice hikes). And together with the wifi we could plan our time in the area really well. Check in, order of beddings, towels and firewood was super easy. The Host lives just next to the cabin and it was clear that the Host enjoys his place and to have guest staying at the cabin and the nearby campground. Definitely a place I want to go back to, if I ever get to the area again.

Gord was extremely responsive and helpful! Fast communication. The cottage was big and spacious. Very cozy -- tons of space to relax on the main floor :) we were in town for a wedding and Gord's place was perfect and excatly what we wanted for the weekend.

Our stay at Renne’s home was absolutely wonderful! The house and garden are beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for stargazing—peaceful, serene, and away from city lights. Renne is a fantastic host, very helpful and sweet. She made sure we had a great time. We can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway!

Tracey and Hermann were very friendly and welcoming and we loved their little cozy cabin. It was so peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding so we didn't have the time to explore their amazing property. Before we said our goodbyes we went for a small hike to see their beautiful horses. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay😊

Lorie’s place is beautiful!! Very comfortable and private. We loved the decor! The property was very peaceful and the walk down to the river from our door was so enjoyable with the fall colors. Hidden gem!! A touch of paradise! Beautiful rustic cabins! Incredible lake views with the most clear water! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious! We had an amazing week here relaxing and enjoying! We will definitely be back!

It definitely exceeded our expectations!! Such a cozy and beautiful place. It’s so well thought of because there were games, utensils, books and more. Debbie was quick to respond and suggested great things to do around. A hidden gem for sure. Would highly recommend and return to this place.

Very nice rustic cottage updated with modern conveniences. We had a relaxing and peaceful week, and my dog loved the lake. I especially liked the mounted moose and bear heads. ;-) Taina and Frank were fantastic hosts -- very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
