Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Bonfield

Pat’s house by the lake a great place to escape from the city and spend close to the nature and relaxation. We, two families with young kids greatly enjoyed the thanksgiving weekend here. The view to the lake and landscape the fall colours are stunning. The stairs down to the lake are worth taking to spend the morning or the afternoon to sit down close to the lake to enjoy the serenity. Ample of boats, books and board games for seniors and kids. Amenities to cook both inside or outside. A clean and spacious house with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. We would love to revisit this place. Thanks Pat for hosting us.

We spent 2 joyful and peaceful nights at Dan's little cottage. It was clean and tidy and had everything that we would need for our stay. We had a bit issue with opening the doors at first but Dan responded immediately after we reached out and solved the problem right away. The cottage is right by the beautiful lake Nipissing. We had such a great time relaxing on the beach and kayaking in the lake. Would definitely recommend this place to our friends!

We loved staying at Sandy Bottoms, the house is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for a family. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake, rods and life jackets were provided (thanks!). The area is peaceful and beautiful and we enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Cindy was very helpful. We recommend the disc golf at Tom Thomson park at South River! They have discs that you can borrow at the car park.

We had a very nice stay at Caylen and Kelly’s place. The cottage was big and roomy, with pretty much everything you need - someone even dropped off a bag of dishwasher pods shortly after our arrival because they noticed they were out. It was too cold for going on the water, but the lake itself was of a good size with nice views. There are several fire pits outside the cottage - one right next to the shore. We went on the nearby Blueseal Creek hike, which was very peaceful and picturesque. Bonfield, with a convenience store and other amenities was only a 10-min drive away. Despite it being mostly cloudy, we had one night when the sky kept popping out from behind the clouds, which allowed us to do a bit of stargazing - this is one of the dark sky locations and you can see the Milky Way and all the constellations. In the summer it must look even better. The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I definitely recommend staying with them!

It was so beautiful! You have your own private beach and so much privacy!! Brenda left the place SPOTLESS I was actually amazed when I first walked in because there was no sand in the tent when it’s literally on a beach Brenda supplied everything you would possibly need, things I didn’t think of bringing I had access to and even some activities in the tent incase it rains! A bonus she also had 2 paddle boards out for us to use! The king size bed was insanely comfy my bed at home doesn’t even compare, I slept amazing.. I had such a great time the campfires on the beach were amazing! Bathrooms were always clean.. Almost every time I went in it has been cleaned. What a relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, private, place Brenda provided I would totally recommend to anyone!!

I just returned from a week-long stay at Kelly's cabin and trailer, and I can confidently say it was one of the best getaways I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, Kelly and his family made us feel right at home. The cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated, offering all the amenities we needed for a comfortable week. We loved the outdoor space, complete with a fire pit and hot tub and amazing views of the water. We also stayed at the trailer which was equally charming and provided a unique experience that added to our adventure. Kelly's recommendations for restaurants, and hidden gems such as Le Voyageur Restaurant for some amazing Thai food were spot-on. We appreciated their knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of the area. Every interaction with Kelly and his family was filled with kindness and care, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with exceptional hospitality, I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you, Kelly

The Wolf Cabin has everything we needed (or forgot to bring! ) from kitchen items to toiletries. Having the attached outhouse was a big plus! The view of the snowy trees from our cabin was beautiful and amazing to wake up to. The campfire was cozy and the wood/kindle was all ready to use. Despite our late check in, Jenn was super helpful from check in to checkout! The trading post has a lot of useful items and fun games! Our three little Chihuahuas were all cozy and warm in the cabin. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back for sure!

Surprised my boyfriend with a night here for his birthday and it was amazing !! Waking up to the big bright window surrounded by trees after a gorgeous snowfall was indescribable. Everything from start to finish was incredible , Mike was an amazing host very responsive and helpful , set up our fire pit for us , and the place was immaculate. So nice for a little getaway, I definitely will recommend and be back !!!

We were looking for a peaceful family vacation with the grandparents and uncles and Mandie’s place was perfect. The two toddlers loved the lake and the little beach area with shallow water by the dock was perfect. An added bonus was the shoe horse throw which served as sand box and was another a favourite place to play. The cottage has nice rooms which are spaced out and the multiple bathrooms were great for our extended family vacation. We were also traveling with our 3month baby and having a washing machine available was of great help. We had a couple of issues while there but Mandie was supper quick to respond and provided solutions. The cottage is well stocked and comfortable and things like the boat drop and garbage drop off are really close by, so it’s the perfect stay for a low key family get away.
