Review for a Beautiful and Comfortable Stay in Pondicherry I recently stayed at a stunning property in Pondicherry, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in a prime location, the property perfectly balances tranquility and accessibility. It’s close enough to explore the vibrant French Quarter, pristine beaches, and lively cafes, yet offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. The property itself is beautifully designed, with a charming blend of modern comforts and traditional Pondicherry aesthetics. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a welcoming and cozy environment. The lush green garden and well-maintained outdoor spaces added a refreshing touch, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a cup of coffee or enjoy a quiet evening. The amenities were top-notch – from fast Wi-Fi and comfortable bedding to a delightful pool that was perfect for a relaxing dip.

We had a great long stay at Kandhan's place. Would stay here again, for sure. 'Purple Resort' is located right behind Zostel. Kandhan was always communicative and helpful. The unit is exactly as pictured; spacious, modern, clean, quiet, comfortable. Great bed, AC units, many fans, bathroom, power backup, washer, balcony & view, pool. The added extra electric charge was very reasonable. We used AC mostly at night. Limited sun exposure & covered roof limits heat buildup. The power does flicker alot - but the battery backup keeps fans going. Wifi will cut out - but data worked well. 500-600irs for AC taxi into Pondi center. Many restaurants & groceries at easy walking distance. 250irs transport to Auroville visitor center. All doable without a car -- we had 1 bicycle. "Accessible Auroville" bus goes back 'n forth to Pondi, 3 times each day. $1. Resort is more busy on weekends. Weekdays we mostly had the place & nice pool to ourselves. In all a super experience & value. Thanx K.

It’s at a very quiet and peaceful location with all amenities one would require . If anything more is required , Vinod will surely get that done for you. Most importantly very well maintained house and swimming pool. A lot of places the pool is often not kept clean. But this place surely ticks all those boxes.

Good place to stay with family..

The place was pinpoint on whatever is in the photo. The care taker kaliamurthy did an extra ordinary to accommodate us and helped us in every inch. Only worry for us was why didn’t we book the stay for one more day. Very safe, secure and we had a very memorable day. I recommend for everyone.

Bodhi Villa was a very nice place and ably supported by a very helpful Dhivya. We also had a very helpful Babu , caretaker who brought us stuff from local places. We also had great help from Dhivya who is a very responsive host, when we wanted reference of doctors/medicines. The swimming pool is clearly a USP and maintained very well. We had some very lovely time there.
