Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Blount County

This is a great place at the pricepoint. We gave it 4 &5 star reviews based on that. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations at 3 star prices then isn’t for you. The cottage is located 10 - 15 min from downtown cullman but is a great location if you plan to visit the other sites outside of the city. The Host was very accommodating and took our reservation with only 24 hours notice. The secluded location is quite nice but it is located about 50 yards from a busy state road. There is a nice path that leads down to a small stream that was great for walking the dog. All in all this was a great experience for us and we certainly recommend others to try it out, just make sure your expectations are realistic. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Had a fantastic time at Monica's place for a guy's weekend before my friend has his first child in a few weeks. The location is incredible, the stairs to the river are a little precarious, but they're exactly as Monica described. Very private, great fire pit, GORGEOUS views. Some of the "intangibles": I felt safe the entire time I was there, it never felt "creepy" and I never had a "bad feeling"; I'd be totally comfortable and wouldn't worry at all if my wife stayed there by herself; it felt welcoming and "homey", it didn't have that sterile, cookie-cutter feel that a lot of Airbnb's have. I definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again myself.

The perfect Lake getaway. Home was super clean, had everything we needed, and super comfortable beds. Kaley was very responsive and great host. Definitely recommend booking this home. Thank you for sharing your cute lake house!

We just spent one night at Tom's on our way home! The place was amazing! Tom thought of everything for those who just spend one night! He had a selection of sodas and water and different candies! All the remotes were labeled with explanations...fireplace, sound system etc. He even had a telescope to do stargazing with! Best airbnb we have stayed at!!

Our stay at the historic bungalow was fantastic. My family and I came up to visit Christkindlmarkt in the downtown district. Which was a fantastic “Hallmark”like experience. The house is within walking distance of the venue which helped with parking 🙂! I recommend staying here anytime, but especially for October-fest and Christkindlemarkt in October and December.

Jason’s place is perfect for that quiet getaway. You feel as if you’re isolated, but if you strain you can hear cars passing by. Far, but not too far (about 10 minutes from town). The bedroom is separated from living area and makes for easy ability to stay up and enjoy the evening or go to sleep whenever you’d like to. The wood burning stove was a great addition to the space. Jason was a great host and while I had to leave early, he was very accommodating and quick to respond to all my inquiries. Highly recommend it and will be back soon.

Great stay at Jays place! The views and hot tub were amazing. Comfy beds. We would totally stay here again.
