Great place for a peaceful getaway. The cabin layout is great with plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The fire pit is Great! Lauren is a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and friendly! Highly recommend this experience.

Such a lovely cozy spot in the woods! Seemed like a good call to bring extra stuff so we didn’t have to run back out into the “real world”, it was so nice to get away!

We loved our stay. Frank and Gail were both extremely kind and very friendly. We were traveling to spend time with family in Arkansas. This was the best pit stop ever. They were very kind to allow us to check in early. The place was very comfortable and the beds were amazing. The apartment is in a wonderful location. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

What an amazing space. We felt right at home. The bed and linens were soft and cozy. The hot tub was relaxing both day and night despite the rain. It was the perfect getaway not far from home. We will be back!

Carla was a very kind and gracious host. Some of the things we really liked about her rental were the layout of the house, plenty of space for 8-10 people, the living room furniture, the master bedroom bed (very comfy), lots of kitchen items provided, a thoughtful welcome basket, nice towels/linens, shampoo/conditioner provided, and quick responses to messages. There were a few things we think could have been a little better, but they didn’t keep us from giving a 5 star rating. Those included: * some burnt out light bulbs (basement game room and porch light) * squeaky bunk beds * tricky stairs to navigate especially for older guests (the porch stairs are steep and at the top of each set of stairs inside the last step is a different height than others) * broken stove knobs (Carla is ordering new ones) * basement bathroom shower head was loose * downstairs bathroom not as clean as upstairs But overall the house was nice, we liked the area, and we would rent it again. Thank you Carla!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as remembered and as just as good as we remembered. We love staying here. It is a great place with great views!

We came from out of state for holiday weekend and had family camping at People's Creek. We could not have had a more convenient location to stay with none of the camping hassles. Everything we needed right on hand.

This was our second time staying here and we had a great stay once again. The house was very clean and everything worked as it should. We were in the area to duck hunt and we had more than enough room for 2 trucks and a trailer. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outside party lights each night. We will be back next year.
