We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Zimbali Wedge. Amy's place is stylish, cozy and well equipped with all the amneties you require when travelling with family. We spent a lot of time out and about and got to visit most of the awesome family friendly spots (like Flag animal farm, Sugar rush and Granny's Pool) Amy recommended. Places not too far out, so very convinient for little ones who don't like travelling for long. Wished we could have booked for a longer stay! Thank you Amy

The house is beautiful and spacious. It is located at a peaceful estate which is right on the beach. We felt right at home. The hosts were responsive and wonderful. We will definitely be back again.

Michelle’s was a superb host and her passion for the environment was a pleasure to witness. The house is clean and tidy and on site staff were very friendly and responsive too. Will definitely recommend this as it is ideal for a family or small groups. Special touch was the safe to securely store valuables.

Lovely location and specious home, definitely coming back

Tamsin was a great host. The house is tucked away in a secluded spot, offering views of the surrounding woods/trees. It provided the peace and quiet, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the time with friends. Good nearby trails/ parks for the kids, and the great pizzas 500 meters down the road. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a unique experience close to the ocean.

Me and My partner had an amazing stay, from the time of booking to check-out, I believe Jo & Craig were very helpful and quite responsive. The space was clean and everything we needed for our weekend. They also checked-in quite frequently and this showed us we are in good hands & felt well taken care of. My family and I had a very comfortable stay in this big family house. Location is great for restaurants and shops. Quiet suburb, really great location.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It’s exactly how it is in the pictures and how it’s described. The complex is so peaceful. You are literally by the beach, you walk out the gate and the beach is right there. The beach doesn’t get packed at all. You will find a cooler for your drinks, beach umbrella. Toys for your kids, dishwasher and washing machine too. The surrounding area is perfect, with lots of restaurants and grocery stores are a walking distance away. The mall is +- 5 Km away. I’ll book this place every time I’m in Durban

The cottage was perfect for our family holiday. We were so comfortable. It really felt like our home away from home and had everything we needed and more. We give it 5 stars! Pieter and Phyllis were great hosts! We will see you soon !

The place is as exactly depicted in the pictures, a pleasure to walk into. It felt very homely and was absolutely beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the spacious lounges. The toys for kids in the house was a nice touch which kept the kids busy. The kitchen is fully equipped, well exceeded my expectations! It is a beautiful, pristine place and the responsive hosts made it that much more pleasurable to stay there. I will definitely come back soon!

Margi was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. She always responded to messages quickly and gave clear information in advance. The place we stayed was just incredible. Lindy’s home was an incredible haven for our weekend away: it felt like home from the start. Immaculately clean, and with beautiful sea and forest views - it’s a tranquil refuge that we’ll certainly return to. Cannot recommend enough and we will certainly be back.

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Lee’s house was gorgeous and easily accommodated our large family. The bedrooms were spacious with en suite bathrooms. Loved the decor of the house. Close to the beach. Very friendly and helpful house keeper and estate guards. Lee was also very responsive throughout our week long stay.

The house was the most beautiful place you have ever rented. The house and furnishings were of an extremely high standard, luxurious, comfortable and every need was catered for. Beautiful entertaining area outside with swimming pool and bar. Staying in this home, was the same as staying in a luxury 5 stay hotel except it was homely, beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. l If you ever have the opportunity of staying in this beautiful home, you will not be disappointed as it exceeded all expectations.
