Vacation rentals with breakfast in Bir

Excellent stay and property. Felt right at home. Mr. vijay was super helpful be it local recommendations, helping a tent at triund top or paragliding at bir or even getting cabs. A very resourceful and friendly host. Will surely recommend to stay here and come back again. Even the food prepared was very good.

This has to be one of the best stays that I had. I stayed here for 4 weeks. The hosts are amazing and it never feels like staying at Homestay. It’s like staying with family. The house while away from the hustle -bustle of commercial area is still close to ATM, grocery stores and some good village restaurants. The house is tastefully designed and has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable. There is lots of open space and the view from the porch is mesmerizing. The kitchen, though on ground floor has all the necessary utensils to help you make your own food. You can also eat at some good village food joints as well as order food from dharamsala. Availability of water is never a problem. Power supply is almost uninterrupted. The house owners are very friendly and affectionate. Every ready and willing to help you should you have any difficulty or need any support. I can, without hesitation recommend this place for families to stay and have a great time.

Beautifully built large apartment. Very private, with fantastic views of the mountains from the roof terrace. Rita was incredibly helpful & kind. We had breakfast & an evening meal at the apartment, all superb quality. Huge, spotless bathroom & plenty of kitchen equipment if you wanted a snack. The bed is huge & comfortable. The terrace is great looking over the plant nursery with so many birds to see. The apartment is an easy walk to the cricket ground, although slopes involved as in all of Dharamshala. We will definitely return next time we visit Dharamshala.

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

Had a very nice and peaceful stay. The sunrise is beautiful and lots of natural light with three big windows. One can see very far mountains and the sunrise from balcony was worth the watch though you can see the sunrise from the bed as well. The kitchen had all the necessary stuff and a mini fridge as well. We had tea and coffee and the grocery was downstairs where you can get mostly everything.

The Airbnb was stunning, and the terrace with its breathtaking view was the perfect bonus. Even on a rainy day, the scenery was so beautiful that we enjoyed staying in. The café downstairs is incredibly aesthetic, and the staff is warm, friendly, and always ready to help

We stayed at Sandeep's place for 3 nights. Since the beginning, communication was clear and an exact location was given to us. The balcony view from this place for sunrises and sunsets is absolutely beautiful. The place is hardly 2kms from Mcleodganj. There are small tea shops that offer maggi, eggs and momos among other things on the main road which is a small walk from the bnb. There are places for breakfast and even ration shops in case you decide to cook as this bnb has rooms with kitchens as well. We faced a bit of issue in terms of utensils but that was it. Sandeep was kind enough to connect us to people who helped us with Triund Trek last minute. We were only able to get permission for the trek because of his help as we didn't know about the ever changing rules and regulations. Would definitely recommend this bnb. It's scenic and central to all the spots as well as economic.

We had the most wonderful stay at Sushmita’s Homestay! From the moment we booked, our host, Sushmita, was incredibly responsive, answering all our queries promptly and providing clear instructions that made locating the homestay effortless. The house itself is a gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The balconies and master bedroom offer breathtaking views of the mountains, making every morning and evening a delight. The peaceful surroundings and serene locality add to the charm, making it a perfect escape from the city hustle. One of the highlights of our stay was the food! The thoughtfully curated menu had a variety of delicious options, and the cook prepared mouthwatering dishes that we looked forward to every day. Every meal was a treat! Frank and Alok are amazing hosts who don’t leave a single stone unturned in order to make sure your stay is comfortable and amazing. The place is remote, so please respect the locals and you will have a great stay. Airbnb location is wrong so simply put 4rooms in google or just contact Frank.

It was really a blissful experience at Mansi’s bnb ! Couldn’t ask more .. the place is surrounded by beautiful views and the bnb itself is nicely maintained!! Mansi is really very supportive, approachable and friendly! She will help you out with sightseeing as well cute cafés ! It’s a perfect place to be !! Would surely love to visit her bnb again and would recommend her well enough for others to have an experience of peace, fun and tranquility! :)

La Maison is a gem of a place located in Chougan, Bir. I'm actually not sure where to start from as it all just culminated into something great but here goes..... Location- Super! If you walk from the Tibetan Market bus stop, it takes about 20 mins and it takes you via winding lanes, beautiful views and cute cafes where you can stop for a quick coffee or whatever you fancy. By taxi, it takes less than 5 mins and the charge is about 150 one way. Check in and check out- Super smooth. Early check in is not a possibility and honestly, it does not matter as the rooms are made ready while you sit down to breakfast or freshen yourself in the guest washroom. Lounge around reading or go for a walk while they get you settled. Check in is very fast and all you need to do is give you ID proof and done! The house- In the middle of nature with stunning views of the mountains and paragliders in the sky the entire day- what else would you want? It is silent and tranquil. The interiors are cosy and exactly how they are shown in the various sites. There are lots of spaces to lounge around in, books in plenty and soothing music that plays in the drawing room the entire day. The house provides privacy along with interaction in a very balanced way- Kudos to Ranjeet and Priti for this achievement! :) Food- The best part of my stay! It is AMAZING! All home cooked, vegetarian and wholesome. There's just something very satisfying about the food and the way it is served. The dining table used to be a hub of conversation amongst the travellers and the hosts- all seeming like a family meal where you hang around even after the food is done with haha! I honestly would not mind eating all my meals here the next time I visit :) The hosts- More said is less about Priti and Ranjeet! They have built a haven for travellers where you feel peaceful and happy and all things nice. Their son Daksh adds to the activity around and the residential pet, Buddy is very amusing :) Special mention for the house help Lucky, who goes around with a smile and nod and makes your life very easy. Will I be back? OF COURSE! Do I recommend this place? With all my heart :) Is this suitable for a long term stay/ workation? Absolutely!

It was an amazing stay for us. We were given the choice to stay at the delux room or at the premium tents at the terrace and we chose the tents ⛺️… it was a very comfortable stay with a special mention of Pratapji ( sr person) who was the manager , cum an awesome cook 👍 and was always available for any support. He was well supported by Sandesh who again ensure service with a smile 😊 Sanjay , the owner was travelling on work but he was extremely hospitable and ensured all necessary arrangements were done well in advance including a beautiful bonfire 🔥 . If you are at Bir billing than one should definitely try their stay here to enjoy the bliss of river stream right in front and the property being located between 2 mountain valleys. The bir landing point is approx 5kms.

Feels like home. A warm stay with a warm family. I haven't come across a better interpretation of a homestay in Bir or anywhere really. The home is clean, well-equipped for a short or long stay and offers amazing views of the mountains. The home is very thoughtfully and soulfully crafted and full of art pieces to admire. They offer delicious and healthy home-cooked food made out of home-grown vegetables. Loved the home and Bir so much so that decided to extend the stay. :)
