Very peaceful and very quiet. The log cabin feel was exactly what we were looking for. Will keep this place in mind for any future weekend getaways.

The stay was great. Hot tub was clean and felt awesome! Patio spacious and nice view of the wooded areas. Two neighbors but well hidden with trees. Privacy was not an issue. We plan to come back next winter

My husband and I enjoyed this cabin and our time spent in Eminence. We felt right at home and got cozy. We wanted somewhere quiet, peaceful, a place to relax while staying within a decent drive from home and that's what we got. The cabin is nice, clean, exactly as the pictures and had all the basic amenities we needed. We loved having the hot tub available and like that it was covered and private. I would definetly recommend this cabin to friends and family.

We recently stayed at this cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The cabin was cozy, charming, and had everything we needed. The decor was thoughtfully done, blending rustic charm with modern touches that made it very comfortable. We also appreciated the outside fenced in area for the dogs. It was also close enough to hiking trails and outdoor activities near Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Inside, the cabin was very clean and well-stocked, with everything from extra blankets to kitchen essentials. The towel warmer was much appreciated. The hosts were also wonderful – very responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and experience a rustic cabin vibe with modern comfort, this is it! Highly recommend!

Great owners and lovely cabin. It was clean as a pin and they thought of everything that we would need during our stay. They were very responsive and helpful. We even got a visit from their cat that was sweet and snuggly!

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

The house was very homey. Comfortable living room and beds. 2 bathrooms was great, too. We loved ending each night in the hot tub. It was a peaceful surrounding. In the country but not far from Steelville. We ate out at one of the resaurants but cooked at the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back!

We have stayed in the home twice. I would give it ten stars if I could. The owner was very responsive and extra accommodating to us. The home inside and outside is well maintained. I can’t say enough how great the owner was to us. Defiantly would recommend to anyone in the Licking area!!

Family of 6 and 2 dogs was more than enough comfort for us. The property was great to explore and we loved the creek and the train. Definitely plan to return.

Quiet, secluded and peaceful. The pond is so pretty! The cabin was amazing, sparkling clean, very well stocked, and super easy to find. The bed was so cute and quite comfy, complete with extra pillows! The water pressure in the shower will knock your socks off!! There are even 2 bbqs, both gas and charcoal. I can't say enough about the peacefulness. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the expansive deck, listening to the crickets, birds, frogs and squirrels was beyond relaxing! The beautiful fall colors were in abundance in late October with so many different types of trees on the property. James was an amazing host. He responded within seconds if I had a question. He was super accommodating too! There is plenty to do within a few miles of the cabin. Montauk State Park is just a short drive with amazing fishing and hiking, and the towns of Salem and Licking are very close (Salem even has a Walmart). The options for restaurants for any meal are abundant in both towns.

This cabin is new and very nice in every way. No TV reception due to location but there is cell service.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again next Thanksgiving. Only 3 minutes away from our family we were visiting. Really loved having the play area and not having to worry about bring toys!

I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a serene escape. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and I can't wait to return!

Very cozy cabin. The wood pellet stove was nice, and there was pretty scenery to wake up to in the morning, also. The location is peaceful and quiet.

My parents and I recently stayed at Abigail’s place in Dixon, MO, and it was everything that was promised and more. The location is absolutely peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The home itself was pristine and impeccably clean, with every detail exactly as described in the listing. The surrounding nature was stunning, with great fishing spots nearby and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. It’s also incredibly convenient, being just 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a home base near the Fort, this is the perfect spot. Thank you, Abigail, for such a wonderful stay—I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful, clean home equipped with everything you need. Loved the big table in the kitchen, we were able to gather everyone and play games together. The river was pretty far down the hill but there is a rope to help guide you down/ up. Froggys resort was right around the corner and we were able to float with them. Fun stay!

The Belle Cabin was a wonderful retreat into nature. It felt quite secluded but still close to a small town with some stores and a small church. We loved coming here to unwind for a few days while grandma watched the kids. I sat outside and was able to find every type of woodpecker around (except a red headed woodpecker). My husband enjoyed organizing his tackle box and then casting for awhile (unfortunately didn’t catch any fish). Maybe the best part was some of the thoughtful amenities they included like chopped wood, newspaper and a lighter, roasting sticks and the fixings for 4 s’mores (perfect amount for us)! The bathroom had shampoo and soap. This place had everything you need for a weekend away, would recommend.

Wonderful place in a secluded area if you're trying to get away from the hassle of the city.

Stayed for our annual fishing trip, was great and accommodating. Great surroundings, nice place inside and out, and plan to reserve for next year.

The log home met the needs of our family ages 6 months to 72 years old. Would recommend to others. Relaxing atmosphere with many thoughtful touches. Responded to questions quickly. We will return.
