We had a fantastic stay at Carolyn's camp. The location is perfect and the cabin cozy in the cold of winter. The true difference maker though is Carolyn herself. Responsive, caring and attentive and it comes through in the warmth of the cabin. Thank you for sharing your camp with us!

The home was in a beautiful location with Great Lake access. Home recently remodeled and clean. Some accessibility concerns for older/ younger guests due to many stairs down to the house and water front. Navigation was made more difficult due to lack of leaf removal in outside areas including stairs and outdoor dining space. A rake and broom were provided but removal ahead of guest arrival would have been optimal

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

Love the views! Great lakefront access and beautiful surroundings. It is right off a main road so there is some road noise but it’s not too bad. The house is very cozy and everything worked great. Beds aren’t very comfortable… we had 6 men in our party, all about 35-45 years old and everyone was a little achy when they woke up with back pain. But not too bad. Overall we had a great stay; would definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful place! The cabin is warm and cozy. The views of the lake are wonderful. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the cabin was warm. The electric fireplace provided ample heat and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There is also a very nice set of barbecue tools for grilling outdoors. Upon arrival there were some welcome snacks. All amenities are as listed in the description. There is also a nice array of wine glasses and cocktail supplies. There are many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks within a reasonable distance- hiking trails, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid. The view from the cabin is great. Sitting at the firepit also provides a good view of the lake. The location is very private and peaceful. Martin is a wonderful host. He was very responsive to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this location.

Carol and Jeff were fantastic hosts and their cabin on the lake was exactly what my wife and I were expecting for our baby moon. The property on Sixth Lake was just far enough from town to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough to get a bite to eat, do some shopping, and pick up any needed grocery items. Carol and Jeff provided perfect communication and the house had everything. Oh, and can’t forget the cookies, which were the best. Sean and Katie

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Lakefront access, beautiful views, private but still close to everything we needed. The wood stove was a big perk for us and we loved having a cozy warm cabin to curl up in. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to checking it out during the summer months (though this is the perfect winter cabin). Colleen was an excellent host and was super responsive. I always felt like if I had any questions she would get right back to me. I would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely rent from Colleen again.

I was taken away by this place, everything was just as described and in working order. Hot tub was amazing and heats up quickly. All the taxidermies and decor really made it cozy inside. Dana was a pleasing host, he made sure everything was perfect and responds quickly if needed. Very beautiful and peaceful cabin i would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

Winter Vacation in the Adirondacks Our stay at Pinecone Place in Long Lake, NY, was magical. The cabin exuded warmth and charm, making it the perfect retreat for a winter getaway. With its rustic ambiance and the serene, snowy landscape just outside, it was an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether curling up inside with a hot drink or heading outdoors to explore, every moment felt special. The cabin was impeccably equipped, featuring a modern kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable, multiple TVs for those who didn’t fully unplug, and a pristine hot tub—a luxurious treat after a day in the cold. Nature’s beauty was fully displayed during our visit to Buttermilk Falls, where the mighty cascade was breathtaking against the winter backdrop. The frozen lakes in the area were equally captivating, offering postcard-perfect views and countless photo opportunities. This trip was the ideal combination of cozy relaxation and awe-inspiring adventure.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs (and host one of my own) and Ashley stands out as one of the best communicators! She was proactive with great instructions and thoughtful messages in advance of our arrival and also very prompt in her responses to our questions. She is a gracious host leaving us extra special treats upon arrival. The kitchen is especially well equipped. Far better than most Airbnbs! Nice pans, sharp cutlery, plenty of dishes, etc. The place is spacious with lots of sleeping quarters. We stayed here during a trip to ski Gore Mountain and the location was great. As was the post-skiing hot tub! Ashley has a beautiful place with gorgeous views and is a most excellent host! Would love to stay here again!

Our stay was everything we expected and more. The house was beautiful and the scenery was the same. Peaceful and quite and just enough with the town. Christian reached out with things to do with the new year which was very nice and helpful on deciding on where to go. Will defiantly be staying again in the summer!

We had at great time at the Wheelhouse cabin. The scenery was beautiful and we had some glimpses of wildlife too. Watching and listening to the stream was serene. Between the soaking tub indoors and hot tub outdoors, we reached peak relaxation. The bed was extremely comfortable, right down to the linens. Thanks to Ina and Scott for such great accommodations, and for being amazing, conscientious hosts.

We had the best stay! All we wanted to do was relax and that is exactly what we did! This place was even better in person than the pictures! The sound of the creek was so peaceful and relaxing! The place was so homey and tranquil! 10/10 highly recommend this stay if your looking to unwind! We want to come back in the summer to do some fishing!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling. The cabin was clean and cozy. The location is great and directly on the trails. You can ride to multiple restaurants and get gas right around the corner. We would definitely stay again!

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! Lots to do in terms of hiking, and activities in the cities nearby

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin. Check in and out was a breeze, inside was pristine and beautifully decorated, so much to do and close to everything. We felt right at home. We will be back for sure.

Our stay at Tiffany and Adam's cabin was the perfect destination for an anniversary weekend celebration! Tiffany was communicative, detail oriented and so sweet! We loved the serenity of the TR property, the white noise of the babbling creek and the cozy amenities of the cabin. Renting the sxs was a blast and was a great way to explore local trails as a family. An added bonus was having the flexibility to include our dog on vacation. We can't wait to return next year!!

My wife and I really enjoyed to cabin. Everything was like new! You can't beat the beauty and relaxing nature of the location.

Another spectacular stay at Camp Cocoon. We arrived to a cozy, peaceful and welcoming cabin which provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the view was a huge bonus. Always hard to leave and already looking forward to next time. Thank you for being such a wonderful host Judy! The bottle of wine was so much appreciated as well!!! ten stars!!
