It was very clean and tidy, we had trouble finding the entrance, it was hard to reach because the contact number was not shared but the house was spotless, it was very peaceful

The entrance and exit of our stay was extremely comfortable. The house was as we saw here. It was clean, comfortable. The surroundings of the house are rich in different eating, drinking and social activities.

This place was fantastic! It looked just like its pictures. The location was great and we were able to walk very easily to either sites we wanted to see or get on a bus or ferry. Even though the city is noisy, this apartment was quiet and kept the sound out well. The host was just awesome- he was so helpful and responsive. He also gave the best recommendations that were amazing - whether it was a restaurant, tourist site, or general advice about the areas.

We loved our stay at Riza's home in Balat. We were five people, and the was more than enough space. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We were met at the arranged time for check in. We loved wondering around Balat and Fener its a beautiful area with loads of local shops, cafes and restaurants. It's also very close to the Balat T5 tram stop making for easy access to the museums and sites in the old city. Riza provided us with a great guide and was very helpful when we had questions. We would whole heartedly recommend Riza's home and would definitely come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in the heart of Fatih! The location is unbeatable—within walking distance to all the major tourist attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar. The neighborhood is full of charm, with plenty of fantastic restaurants and cafes just steps away. The home itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent recommendations for local spots to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Istanbul adventure. If you’re looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay in the heart of the city, this is it! Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

First time to Istanbul and traveling as a family. Very happy with our decision to stay in Balat, vibrant cafe/bakery/eatery scene in a very colorful neighborhood. Ozkan's place is on a quiet corner a 3 minute walk to the action. 10 minute walk to the river to pick up the tram or a ferry. Quick access to old town or any other sites from there. Clean, stylish place that was great for our 4 kids. Would return.

This house was so beautiful. The decor was cozy and modern at the same time. We had a great time here in Istanbul. It was close to public transportation within 3-5 minutes of walking. All the attractions were 10 minutes away. Impeccable cleanliness. I recommend this house 100%.

If you're looking for a quiet stay in a convenient location, This is perfect for you. We had PLENTY of space inside, everything we needed to cook, and all of the local foods and tourist spots either right out the door or a short walk away. Location 10/10 (not touristy neighborhood, close to major roads and locations though, great hole in the wall food places nearby) Hosts 10/10 Very responsive, kind, courteous, and professional. House 10/10 Not a luxury house but those don't feel like you're at home anyways. Us, our kids, and our older parents had a feeling of being at home throughout our stay. Dont look any further!!

Great detailed thinking, we stayed for a week and they thought about every single thing that anybody needed to stay. We saw comments about insect issues but faced nothing. Thanks for the cozy vibe.

As described online, exceptionally clean in every single room. Hamza was extremely hospitable and friendly. It was a perfect base and Uber taxis found it no problem. We were 3 guys on a business trip, the only thing we could not find was an iron and board. It would have been also been useful to have an extra key as the apartment has very good security. Theses are only small recommendations but may be worth considering
