Jolanta and Tom were wonderful hosts. We loved the proximity to Shawnee, and the cozy wood-burning fireplace. We look forward to returning!

We loved our time in the Getaway! It suited our needs, was very clean, and all instructions given by James were “right on”! From the extremely complete instruction manual to his responsiveness when we needed help, James was the best! The Getaway was well kept, had a collection of eclectic and modern furnishings all very durable. We loved that it had a porta crib, beach chairs, and umbrella. We never had any trouble finding street parking right in front of the house. We would stay there again. Thanks James!

This was the perfect place for a family gathering for my husband and I, our two grown kids and their spouses. Plenty of room in the kitchen to make meals together and plenty of sofa to watch silly shows together. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, and even an extra powder room! The view was spectacular. The deer in the morning, a bonus.

We had a terrific time. It’s a lovely home- 20 min from Shawnee mountain and steps away from an indoor/outdoor pool facility (depends on weather), sledding hill and small skiing hill with ski lift. I would absolutely stay here again- and highly recommend for anyone with young kids looking to teach them to ski. Very very convenient. The hosts were available for questions and were friendly/flexible. Incredible customer service. We will be back!

Beautiful place to spend weekend!

Stood at this home for 5 days with 6 other guests and i gotta say i have no complaints ! The hosts were super responsive and super helpful about the amenities in the neighborhood. The home was beautiful (just like the pictures!!) and very spacious for us 7 (We did not feel cramped at all!!)), the kitchen had everything we needed and we always had something to watch or do in the house. The neighborhood was super quiet and beautiful, it snowed during our stay and maintenance were outside shoveling the stairway and garage already by the time we’ve woken up which let me know the community cares!!! The neighbors were also super friendly and said hello every time we ran into each other . I definitely think for the price we paid it’s super worth It and it was definitely a stay i needed to get away from the city. Would definitely return I don’t regret the stay at all!!!

This guesthouse was the perfect size for a getaway vacation and is in a perfect location. Margaret was super quick to respond and very helpful. One of my favorite touches was the little slippers near the front door (which are washed between guests), made me feel right at home! Me and my girlfriend had no issues whatsoever. I would definitely come here again :)

Very kind and accomodating hosts to my last min disaster with my rental home. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone!!

Absolutely superb hosts and such a great location. Steven couldn’t have been a better host, our kids and us loved his place and would highly recommend. Thoughtful touches everywhere and very clean. Hope we can stay again sometime.
