A charming place and cozy stay! Robert was responsive and friendly. Also, I highly recommend the shrimp and cheddar grits at District Bar & Kitchen which is only a few minutes away. So good!

Very convenient to the college and Spring St shops and restaurants; very walkable. Plenty of room for 5 people and found the washer/dryer very useful. Added bonus were the fall colors and the sound of water from the creek. Molly very responsive to questions and timely. Very clean. Thanks!

My partner and I had a wonderful, relaxing time here! Jill and Steven were fantastic hosts, all the thoughtful touches made our stay really delightful. The lovely path along the river was beautiful and well maintained. Everything was as described, if not better. We were both able to work remotely for a few days during our stay with no wifi issues. Walkable to downtown Great Barrington to enjoy an evening out, especially with Jill and Steven's great recommendations.

Overall, we had a good stay here. There was some noise from the street, but it was not an issue for me. If you are a very light sleeper, this might be something to consider. The queen bed was very soft/squishy, which again I like, but if you prefer a firmer mattress, keep that in mind. The place was extremely clean and easy to access for check-in.

This setting on the lake is just stunning! The large, hilly yard has the most gorgeous view, visible also from inside the apartment and from the lovely deck. I came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and it couldn’t have been more wonderful. Laurie even gave me a delicious little birthday cake. The amenities are luxurious, the decor is so tasteful and every cupboard is beautifully organized. Highly recommended. Hope we can return!

Beautiful location overlooking the pond, conveniently located to towns and attractions, and private. Cozy, well stocked kitchen/cooking gear, everything you need as a contained retreat or a home base while exploring the Berkshires.

My gf and I stay in Great Barrington usually about twice a year and this stay was the best value for the location. The room was really cool, very modern, and clean. The large back yard was perfect for our energetic Boykin Spaniel. It was located in walking distance to a few restaurants and just about the corner from great hiking spots and Main St for shopping at the nice local spots. I highly recommend this stay.

This place was so so magical, peaceful, cozy, whimsical! I didn’t want to leave the house!! The area is beautiful, and the house is stunning just as listed. We had a great time. I also have to say that communication with Jamie and the caretaker was great, very attentive. Would love to go back soon

The house is very recently updated with many nice decorator's touches and the hosts have made available nice perks for the guests, like beach towels on the ground floor, a kayak at the beach site and a backyard fire pit. Shay was very responsive to questions the week before our stay and provided many suggestions of restaurants in Great Barrington, a 20 minute drive away. Besides the draw of Jacob's Pillow 30 minutes away, there was a Zipline and Adventure Park at Catamount, also about 30 minutes away and the Appalachian Trail passes right nearby in the State Park. The house is not directly on Lake Garfield, but has a view of it and the sandy family beach is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Be aware that there are lots of stairs to negotiate because it is on 3 floors.

The Hygge House was a lovely spot to spend my birthday weekend with my family and friends. We took advantage of so many close-by activities. But the highlights were at the house itself - paddling the canoe and kayak through the water, outdoor dinner, and s’mores at the fire pit. Jessica was also so easy to communicate with and super accommodating during a personal emergency we experienced. We loved our stay and would love to come back again soon.

Daphne is a thoughtful and wonderful host. The property was clean, comfortable and very well appointed with everything I would need, especially in the kitchen. I highly recommend this 5-star property. It is quiet, peaceful and full of nature everywhere the eye can see.

Visiting Jane's place in the fall is an absolute pleasure! The surroundings were gorgeous with the changing leaves, and the stream that runs behind the property added a peaceful element to it all. It was a lovely and comfortable house that carried a rustic charm throughout it, and we appreciated all that the area had to offer.

Beautiful home and location. The house was the cleanest air bnb I ever stayed in. Everything was clean and new. The house had everything we needed in it. We absolutely loved the view. We used the lake every day, even in the cold, my kids bundled up and took the kayaks out. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for everything.
