Waterfront vacation rentals in Berg Municipality

The apartment on the ground floor is very cozy, warm, with everything you need. Clean bathroom, good shower, hot water, a cozy wood stove. We felt welcome and at home, fabulous nature around us, aurora lights right outside the window. Tromsø and the airport are easy to reach, a supermarket about 10 minutes away. You need a car. We would be happy to recommend the property and hopefully will be back.

The location directly at the fjord is amazing. Even though it takes around 40 min. to get to the city (rental car is required!), the route is beautiful and you will find some great spots for watching polar lights (no need to buy a tour!). The apartment war cozy and warm!

Fantastically located, modern, bright apartment with large rooms, cozy living room and excellently equipped kitchen. Lena-Elise came by for a short visit and gave us helpful tips. We enjoyed the stay very much and will definitely come back in the summer. Thank you for everything!

Halvard and his wife are one of the most amazing host I have met. Had a great time interacting and exchanging our culture through foods and stories. The house is huge and has ample amount of space to feel right at home. So many beautiful spots to spot Northern Lights in just 10 mins of drive. Recommend it to everyone:)

The house is super cosy and is in the most special location. Our family made the best memories here. The house has everything you need to feel right at home, it’s super clean and spacious with the most beautiful views.

We had a perfect stay. Hugos house is so cozy and comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view is beautiful and we were able to see the the northern lights during our stay. Checkin was easy. Hugo was also very helpful with his messages. We would love to come back one day.

We loved the cabin in the winter time. Was very spacious for 5 adults and a toddler.

Jan went above and beyond, when our car rental fell through, she helped organize transport from the airport (we arrived very late) and a rental car replacement. This was hugely appreciated. The Appartment is very spacious and has all the basic amenities. It’s our 3rd trip to Sommarøy and this Appartment is extremely well located if you’re searching the northern lights. You won’t need the car and you can take pictures from the houses front lawn which is great when the weather is not with you, no need to spend hours in the cold. Even on nights where it said 100% cloud cover, I was able to get good photos in the garden area. There is also 2 great viewing areas with in a 5 min walk to the north and south. Thanks to Janet and Jan for their hospitality.

Everything is very good Clean bed linens are available. All clean and tidy. Good beds and views. 2 times we are there. The landlord is very simple and works out. The view is amazing. Recommended!!

Very cosy place, the view from balcony and windows is stunning. The landlord is very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect for northern light chasing, which we saw two nights in a row. Also close to convenience store and fuel station. Highly recommended.

Cecilie's place was by far the best Airbnb that I've ever stayed at in Europe! I loved everything about the house. Despite being an hour away from Tromsø and being a small quiet little area, Sommerøy allowed us some much needed time away from the busy cities that we live in. The house was beautifully decorated, fully equipped (and more!) with everything we needed for our stay, resulting in a super comfortable time in Sommerøy. Cecilie is an extremely responsive host that helped me with any questions I had super swiftly. (: She even left us a welcome gift and a hand written 3 letter to tell us everything we needed to know about our stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality! My only gripe is not having booked Cecilie's place for a few more nights. If I ever come back to Norway, I'd definitely love to stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful break from the city in a quite and serenic cove. It was so quite that you only slhear the ocean an waves. There were some Sea Eagles nesting near the house that we got some wonderful sightings of more than once. We were also very lucky and got to see the Aurora three nights in a row. Per and Stina were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We will remember our stay at their magical place fondly.

It was great stay in a peaceful location with Aurora lights in the backyard! Everything was as described and place was clean, cozy and warm! A big TV and comfy sofa combo provided relaxation after long hikes and tours to the fjords! There’s also a slope for cross-country skiing just behind the house, a bus stop in 4 mins away (it runs twice per day towards Tromso, so having a car would be essential). Will definitely recommend this place!

Lovely place with an incredible view. Very peaceful environment, with a small shop 5min walk away for shopping. Small notebook upon arrival with all the necessary information about the surroundings + small touches from Frank that are very nice 🥰 Everything was very clean and functional. And what a joy to be able to observe the boreal aurora at the foot of the house 🥰 We'll be happy to come back if we have a chance, thank you Frank! 🥰

Everything worked as expected!

A beautiful apartment set in the small village of Tromvik, with everything we needed for a few night's stay. Anne was easy to communicate with and sorted out a minor problem very quickly. We had lots of snow, followed by rain during our stay so the apartment was even more important as it was difficult to get out and walk much locally.
