Cabin vacation rentals in Benton

The place is right on a heavily used road. When you are out back you cannot hear the traffic but when you are in the living room you can hear a lot of trucks go by. We got use to it after being there for a day or two but just to let people know. Other wise the hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a little bit of snow so that was pretty too. Was a very homey place and would definitely stay again. We love places where our dogs are welcomed and they enjoyed themselves as well.

Connie's Cabin was great! Easy to find, clean and comfortable. Would love to come back when everything is not so frozen.

We had a wonderful time at this cabin, and hope we can return again! The view of the stars in the hot tub was the highlight. There's lots of space to walk around and explore the property. We saw deer several times during our stay! The kitchen was super comfortable and had everything we needed for thanksgiving dinner so definitely recommend this place for people who love to cook. The fireplace with a view from both the living and dining room was also a huge bonus. Their TV is a smart TV with airplay capabilities and added to our entertainment while staying in the cabin. They also had board games, but we didn't even get a chance to use them! Tons to do despite the remote, private setting. We finished our trip exploring the small town of Jim Thorpe and enjoyed an easy and stunning hike to Luke's and Buttermilk Falls nearby. What a trip!

We had such a great experience. The house was spacious and gave the best “cabin in the Poconos” vibes. It had several large entertaining areas that allowed us all to hang out together when we wanted but also provided opportunities for adults and kids to hang separately. The pool table and shuffleboard were a huge hit. The basketball court was so fun, too, even in middle of winter. It snowed while we were there which provided THE BEST atmosphere. However, the porch, deck and steps on both were very icy and there was no salt for us to melt the ice. We realize the host can’t control the weather, but it would be a good idea to provide access to salt and a shovel. We highly recommend this house for larger groups. The hosts were super responsive to every message from the time we booked to the time we checked out. We created so many wonderful memories in this amazing home. Thank you!

We loved staying here! The place was great for a getaway ski weekend, just a 20 minute drive from Jack Frost. The house was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The house did not have oven mitts or wine glasses and Michael went out of his way to bring these to us the next day. I recommend bringing extra towels, TP, paper towels and trash bags if you have a full house. Also make sure you bring your own shampoo/shower things. Michael was a great host and we would absolutely return!

I have to say, this has been the best property I've stayed at so far! The cabin was beautiful and spotless, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I will definitely be coming back! Just a heads-up, it’s a good idea to have a four-wheel-drive car for the drive up the hill, but other than that, everything was a perfect 10/10. Sadie was so sweet and accommodating. Can’t wait to return!

We can't say enough good things about this cabin! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The cozy and thoughtfully designed space made us feel right at home. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was clear the host put great care into every detail. The atmosphere was serene and magical, with just the right balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. Whether we were relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying the views or unwinding on the porch, everything felt like a dream. We had so much fun exploring the surrounding area and then returning to this peaceful retreat to recharge. It was the prefect getaway, and we are already planning our next stay. Great accommodations and beautiful area

So beautiful and peaceful. Linda was so prompt and helpful with any questions we had. The cabin was amazing! Love the decor. Perfect for couples or families with children. Very spacious. Will be back soon. Highly recommended

We visited the area to see the Eagles Mere Toboggan. We had never visited the area before and were looking for a last minute cabin. We found the perfect spot! We were about 20 minutes from Eagles Mere. The cabin was really nice! 2 bedrooms and living area with TV and gas fire place. The kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to cook. We were only there for the night so we did to go at the grocer up the road. The cabin was warm and had lots of blankets and pillows. The bathroom was cool too, a rain shower and stone floor. There was a fire ring in the middle of the cabins. We asked if we could buy some wood and they delivered it to us. We had a short fire at night considering it was 15 degrees. We looked at the beautiful stars. One of the cabins had a hot tub, if we come back we will definitely try to get that one. The parking spot was right at the cabin. Easy in and out. The cabin is easy to find and in the warmer months it looks like they have lots of amenities! clean to!

Great stay close to Rickets Glen and Worlds End State parks. A few pleasant surprises included snacks and food items, plenty of toiletries, The TV stand has a Dog crate built in that is plenty big enough for medium Dogs and the Terminator arcade game! Normally when I go to mountain towns the local food options are Dollar General and Food Lion but here there are plenty of restaurants and the Sunoco has most all necessary provisions. The neighbors are close but quiet and all was great however The indoor fire instantly smoked us out which was a bummer but I probably missed a vent somewhere. If I had better service I would have asked but no big deal. Overall we’re really pleased with the stay.

We had such a great time at Thomas’s little cabin. He was very responsive. His cabin is beautiful and very clean. The wood stove made it really cozy. We had a snowy day and it was beautiful. We walked up the road in the snow to where it becomes State Game Land. We also went for a hike at Ricketts Glenn State Park which is only ten minutes away.

Steven has a gorgeous property. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is more than stocked with everything you need. I would love to have a family vacation here. We love Tunkhannock and hope to return in the near future.
