Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Belton Lake

We had a great time! We just needed a nice place for my bridesmaids and I to stay in for the night before my wedding because we live so far away. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in Killeen again!

Cottontail Hideaway is the perfect place to chill out and relax. Sunsets are amazing! We stayed overnight to avoid driving home after a New Years Eve wedding. The place was perfect!

Ian was very responsive and always had a tip if I had a question. He followed up on how our stay was I would definitely recommend his place.

Such a beautiful place! It honestly felt more like a guest house than a rental. So many welcoming touches, just like a family member or friend would think of to create a home away from home stay. There was not one thing missing. It was nice to be able to work remotely for the week with zero issues with connections. (And felt completely safe while my husband went to work offsite for the day) it was so nice being able to do laundry and come home with clean clothes (laundry soap, dryer sheets and also wool balls provided) The bed in the main room was amazing…so amazing that we are trying to find the exact one to replace ours at home with. (Thanks for the help on that Vickie:) the linens are upscale quality, plush and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, including very appreciated snacks and drinks available. The deep front porch was a treat, and is just beautiful lit up at night. A porch swing would be a great addition 😉 I could write more, but there isn’t enough space. 🫶🏻

I booked this for my college graduation, and the entire experience was amazing. The space was perfect for what I needed. The backyard space is beautiful and waking up to the lake was very peaceful. The place had every supply we needed, and a unanimous vote that the beds were the comfiest of any Airbnb. The water heater and faucets did make a squeaky noise when running.

Always a great stay here!

What an incredible view!!! The house was just right for our family of 9…2 grandparents, 3 adults and 4 kids 12-16 yrs. The big open living room/dining room/kitchen kept everyone connected and engaged with each other. The deck off the kitchen/dining was great with plenty of room for all of us. Getting down to the water and back up wasn’t easy as the lake level is low. The host, Gina, could not have been better! Very responsive, giving clear instructions plus recommendations. Driving in, the surrounding area is a little sketchy, but once you get there the peace and quiet combined with the view are worth it!

This space much bigger than the photos! Really gorgeous, artsy house! The kitchen is so beautiful. It’s a great space to sit and chat over a cup of coffee! Also, so quiet and dark in the mornings.

Had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Our host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Highly recommend!

Brooke’s place is charming and unique! One of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Great location, walkable to restaurants and shops. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Brooke thought of everything you might need for your stay. We hope to return sometime!

My family booked both of the cabins that are connected by a deck for our wedding at the Village Venue at the Salado Inn. The space was perfect for my mom, sisters, and their kids. We also used this as a getting ready location for the wedding as it was only 3 minutes from the venue. Cabins were super clean and on a beautiful property. We’d love to come back again!

We were looking to get away for a few days, and looking for peace and adventure. We definitely found it here. Was so nice to slow down and just enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that this place offers. We took morning walks and loved seeing all the wildlife. Took advantage of the pond and did some kayaking and boating and even got brave enough to jump off the pier! It had been a while since we had taken a family vacation and this was just what we all needed. Was so nice for the kiddos to be off electronics and enjoy catching frogs and tadpoles at the creek. Corey took time out to show us around the property and was adamant about us reaching out it if we needed anything. It didn’t feel like we were staying at an air b n b but rather as if we were crashing at a friends place. If we get the opportunity again we’ll definitely be back!

A nice cozy cabin on a beautiful property just outside of Bertram. Our stay was very peaceful and enjoyable. Everything was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Great porches to enjoy a meal or to sit and watch the gorgeous Texas sunsets. Very responsive host and clear instructions. Loved the little French Bulldog that was always eager to greet you! Would highly recommend this Airbnb!!!

This place was perfect. There were so many little extras to make you feel at home. This was the most well equipped place. You won’t regret staying here.

Tere was so kind & responsive! Great amount of space for our of mothers & daughters staying for local horse show! We loved the dinner we ordered from Chef Lucy / so wonderful & highly recommend if you stay!

What a wonderful experience! The cabin is new construction and immaculately clean. The two bedrooms and beds were super comfortable. The “bunk loft” was great place for our kids. They loved staying up in the loft. Full kitchen with new appliances made preparing our own food easy. Amazing view over the old limestone quarry lake was gorgeous. Gas grill, wood grill available. We loved sitting on the large back porch during the day and down at the large fire pit (overlooking the quarry lake) in the evening. Lots of nature and plenty of room for the kids to explore. We saw deer, turkey, osprey, rabbits turtles, frogs, and plenty of birds. Star gazing was amazing. Host was gracious, responded immediately, gave clear instructions and helped us plan activities. This is a great out-in-the country getaway location. I highly recommend.
