Our stay at Maarten's place was fantastic! The instructions for check-in were clear and easy to follow. Maarten and Ilse were amazing hosts, always responsive to our msgs. They ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The house is nestled by a serene lakeside, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bikes, relaxing chairs by the lake. The thoughtful touches truly stood out, like the beautiful Christmas decorations with a charming tree and lovely lighting added to the festive atmosphere. We loved spotting the adorable Big duck family and squirrels near the property and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride through the forest trail, where we saw deers, horses and rabbits. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for this experience and would love to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway.

We were there for a week with six friends and we really enjoyed it. The accommodation has everything you need. Larger towns are easy to reach.

What a beautiful place, what a tranquility! Close to Sneek and Bolsward. A bakery nearby where they have delicious bread. The cottage is clean, stylishly decorated. We had not realized that it is really 1 open space where you sleep and live. For our 5-month-old pup, that took some getting used to, but she also had a lovely time. In short, a place to come back! The exquisite Rituals products were so thoughtful! Plenty of towels, very well cared for!

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

A place that lives up to its name! Beautiful surroundings and stay. Seeing the deer passing by in the fields around in the fields, here there is only peace. The house is tastefully decorated and very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. Our children enjoyed themselves endlessly in the playground and with the animals. The shed full of balance bikes, bikes, stair cars and other toys was a favorite! Very friendly and thoughtful host. The heating didn't work and this was fixed right away. Roasting marshmallows with the kids? Everything was present and nothing was too crazy. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back ourselves.

We had a great stay at Johan & Imi's place! It is one of the better airbnbs we have stayed in. The airbnb was clean and everything you need is there. Johan & Imi are very friendly and good hosts. Breakfast was very well provided, very good service! The location is also very nice, but convenient to have a car at your disposal to be able to explore the area. All very positive!
