Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bedford County

Cody is an excellent host. He was responsive, understanding and accommodating when our travel plans changed last minute. The property met every need to make the stay as comfortable as possible and was clean. As a multiple time visitor, we will continue to book with Cody when available.

Really lovely roundhouse in a beautiful location near cute town of Bedford. Well stocked kitchen, comfortably furnished, and cozy but not small. Very private feeling even though close to other roundhouses.

My sister and my families were in town for a funeral and the house was perfect for a multi-family get together. The house is spacious, immaculate, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. The hosts, who were so welcoming and responsive, truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Whether we were cooking breakfast together in the large kitchen, eating around the large dining table, or simply relaxing in the cozy living areas, there was ample space for our family to gather and enjoy each other’s company. We loved the peaceful outdoor space—in the summer, we think it would be perfect for morning coffee, evening walks, or simply hanging out and enjoying each other's company. There are very nice restaurants, wine bars, and cafes available in Bedford. This would be a great place to stay while you enjoy the area.

Awesome spot for a mini college reunion with people coming from NJ, CT, and MI. Raystown Lake is beautiful and the house has camp vibes with lots of fun knickknacks and things to do. Hot tub was taken out two years ago, but didn’t miss it. Fire pit and kitchen are both super nice and all the bedding was very clean. A bit strange that the hood isn’t connected to electricity, but it didn’t cause any issues with cooking. Not many places that fit this many people effectively with such a nice view. Sunrise was gorgeous.

Lovely home, located in the beautiful Pennsylvania country side. Ann stopped by for a visit, and is well versed in all the local events and restaurant's in the surrounding area. We attended a wedding at the Woodhaven Event Venue. The house is within walking distance of the venue with the added bonus of crossing the covered bride at the bottom of the hill. The house is beautifully furnished and we had no issues cooking our meals and also took advantage of the fire pit located in the back of the house. Thanks Ann and Richard. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking to spend some time in the area.

This Airbnb is fantastic! Our friend group wanted to have a cozy getaway, and this place checked all our boxes for what we wanted to have. Once we arrived, we didn’t have to leave the property once, why would we? We had access to a hot tub, firepit, cozy area for TV/movies, and plenty of beds! The hosts were responsive and helpful - both prior to and during our stay. You can tell they cherish giving larger groups/families an affordable, comfortable place to gather and have a great time. The place is stocked with everything you need, and I definitely look forward to returning one day.

Our 3rd stay at Cynthia's listing and her place is always very pristine. We'll be back for sure!

This condo is so cozy and cute. Easy access to all Blue knob has to offer. Located on the beautiful golf course right behind the Club house bar and grille. I lived in Blue Knob for 25 years and I felt right at home upon entering this condo during my holiday visit with family. This condo smelled great upon arrival, it is comfortable , clean, fully stocked, and safe! Thank you Sherry for allowing an early check in and treats. The Christmas decorations were also a very cute bonus! (This condo is a “lower level” unit but we were not disturbed from upper unit. Also, this condo does not include access to the indoor pool/ hot tub/sauna/gym at this time).

I am honored to be your first guest! The little apartment was adorable - well appointed, thoughtful amenities, and VERY clean. I appreciated the cold bottle of water in the fridge and the popcorn after a long drive! The small washer-dryer stack is a nice feature; I spilled coffee all over myself when someone cut me off on the highway, and it was very convenient to toss everything in the washer. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Cute and cozy condo! We enjoyed our girls weekend in an adorable location. April is amazing, helpful, and responsive. I would 100% recommend this condo.

We stayed at Jeanette's condo in Blue Knob in late Nov 2024. Not only was Jeanette extremely responsive as a host, but her condo was also extremely comfortable and well-maintained. We would recommend Jeanette's place to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Blue Knob.

My family and i enjoyed our stay at Judy’s place. The experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay again!

Judy's AirBnB was cozy, clean and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a long weekend away. We had the opportunity to do some exploring in the area . . . Flight 93 Memorial, Quecreek Mine Rescue site, Horseshoe Curve, Gallitzen tunnels and the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona . . . everything within an hour's drive (with beautiful scenery!). We enjoyed the on-site Clubhouse (great service, food and drinks, reasonably priced) and a relaxing dip in the indoor pool. Peggy's Diner, in Claysburg, offers a great breakfast and daily specials. We met so many wonderful people and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would recommend Jydy's place for a couple's weekend away . . . it easily makes our list of "return to" places. Judy provided all the information we needed for our stay. . . no need for any additional contact, because everything was just as presented and everything went well (no problems!).. Thanks, Judy . . . we hope to visit again soon!

My stay here at the cabin was unbelievable the pictures don’t do the place justice!! When you think of a cabin in the woods ontop of a mountain this is that place that covers it all! Not to mention on top of that it has a hot tub and a killer view from all directions! Cool thing about this cabin is it’s got that old rustic feel with a modern touch that doesn’t take away of that Cabin woodsy feel. Now let’s talk about the drive to the cabin talk about a build of anticipation it starts out on these windy mountainous roads then turns into this trail like private road winding up a mountain then ontop of that mountain is your Cabin waiting for you! It’s such a cool feeling! This place was like a dream come true for me honestly! I recommend to anyone that loves Cabins,Woods, Peace,Nature and tranquility. Can’t wait to stay again! Dan.

An absolute gem in the woods! Our family spent a few days over Thanksgiving here and just loved it. The home was beautiful. The kitchen was a dream to make a big meal in. We brought utensils and extra pans/dishes but didn’t need any of it since it was so well stocked. It was so nice having our own bathrooms as well. Everything was perfect. We have already talked about spending some time here in summer to enjoy the nearby lake and hiking.

This was the best place to relax and enjoy time away, if we are back in the area will stay here again, beautiful rustic cabin exactly as described, thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

House was clean and had so many thoughtful and helpful things for us to use around the house. Very private and beautiful mountain scenery around. I did wish there was a tv in the living room but still had a great time. Tyler was beyond helpful with a small issue we had. I really enjoyed my time here.

What a cozy Thanksgiving retreat!  We celebrated my nephew’s 11th birthday and Thanksgiving here. There’s plenty of space to prepare large meals and gather around the long table.  The cabin is well stocked (wood, paper products, kitchen supplies, and etc.) and the fireplace is immaculate.  We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It snowed during our stay, and the cabin windows made you feel like you were in a beautiful snow globe. There were plenty of spaces to spread out, play games, read a book, or just relax. Our family enjoyed building puzzles and playing darts, ping pong, Connect Four, and Hookey in the basement. We also built a snowman and went sled riding. The ski room was perfect for hanging wet gloves/coats to dry.  The main steps did get slick when loading/unloading, even after shoveling, but the host made us aware of this ahead of time. You can tell the hosts take pride in this cabin.  They were attentive and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

My friends and I have been hunting the mountains up there for years and decided we needed a nice place to stay this year. Crystals cabin was just what we needed! It’s tucked way back in off the road at the base of the mountains with beautiful scenery. The cabin was super comfortable and we felt at home. We stayed a total of 5 nights in 20 degree weather the whole time and the cabin stayed nice and warm. The cabin also felt rustic like a cabin should but was very well maintained. We plan to continue to stay here every year going forward. If you are looking for cozy and quiet this is it and if you are into hiking there are miles and miles of beautiful mountains to hike right out the door!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet that the cabin offered. It was fairly close to the places of interest. Perfect place for 2 people. We would stay there again.
