Cabin vacation rentals in Bear Creek

We had planned a small New Year's Eve party and chose this place for its charm and location. The host kindly allowed us to check in early to avoid getting lost in the dark. The cabin and its surroundings are stunning. Situated by a lake, a flock of swans gracefully glided across its calm surface. Nearby, people were boating and fishing, adding to the serene atmosphere. The cabin is spacious, clean and cosy, with a large Christmas tree adding a festive touch. The heated floors are perfect for winter, and the elegant decor fits in perfectly. The firm mattresses are to be commended - we all slept wonderfully. The open plan has four large beds that were sensibly arranged, but as there are no separate bedrooms, pyjamas are recommended for comfort. The hot tub remained warm, although we would have liked a little shelter from the wind and some extra privacy. The breathtaking view of the lake exceeded all expectations - absolutely unforgettable!

We loved our stay at the Russian River cabin (not riverfront cabin just named after it). The cabin was clean and cozy, liked having a sauna room in the bathroom. Favorite part was the large private hot tub out on the deck with wonderful night view of the stars. Perfect location for a quite holiday getaway.

The cabin was beautiful, with much love put into all the wood carvings by Kent. The beds were super comfortable. The little kitchen very helpful. We all LOVED the sauna and the hot tub on a chilly rainy day in August. Thank you Kent for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

Great location, spectacular view. I love the wood stove, which makes me warm enough and feel in the nature. Very friendly staff, clean bathroom, shower and laundry. I will stay here again if I go back to Seward.

This was a delightful place to stay. It was warm, cozy, and welcoming. Beautiful scenery and loved the sound of rain on roof. Very relaxing!!

What a fabulous place for a quick getaway! There was a lovely outdoor shared area but the cabin still felt very private. We were impressed at how well the amenities were situated in the studio cabin space. The location was only a short distance to town, but it still felt private and peaceful. Everything was wonderful & we are thankful to our hosts for such a lovely experience!

Beautiful place, close to seward but also far enough to be peaceful and natural! The cabin had all the basic necessities, and more. And the host is very friendly, helpful and responsive

Jamie and Duanne were friendly, helpful, and know the area very well. They can recommend activities, restaurants, and anything else you might need. Their cabins are really sweet inside and have all the appliances for breakfasts and a bbq outdoors for dinner meals. This is glamping at it's best. All of the areas used by guests were neat and clean. I would stay here again, but do read the description.

We are 1.5 weeks into our visit to Alaska. Traveling every town! But nothing beats our stay on the lake with June. It was Absolutely beautiful and everything/ more than what we imagined for our wedding night! I can not stress enough how much this stay meant to us! The views, bed comfort, fire place and bathroom just blew us away!!! Don’t pass up!!!!! You will regret it!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. We very much enjoyed our time here. Debra gave us easy to follow directions to find it. Cabin has everything for a comfortable stay. No wifi but AT&T had solid cell reception. Would recommend this cabin to friends & family and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had a wonderful stay here to finish off our honeymoon. Very clean, looked Just like the photos. It felt very luxurious with what we guessed at a 12 ft tall shower, a heated towel warmer for when you get out, any time you used the restroom your bum was greeted with a warm bidet seat. There were so many factors about this place that seem small, but made our stay AMAZING. Not to mention downtown Seward is only 5 minutes! We were able to fish at the shore, clean the fish in Seward, then cook the meat with the full kitchen provided. absolutely recommend staying!!!

we had a wonderful time and the cabin was well stocked. Great surroundings overall a beautiful setting, forest surroundings, but all the amenities.

We had a great stay at Kevins cabins. Check in was easy. The space was clean and welcoming. Kevin was prompt with communication. The location was very convenient.

Our party consisted of 3 adults and two dogs. This trip was AMAZING 🙌🏼 we packed up ice for food & drinks because there is a very large cooler provided. I recommend bringing up water in case the rain collector doesn’t have any, however this was not an issue that we ran into. There’s also an ax provided to chop up firewood for the porch pit & indoor fireplace. Plenty of pots, pans, silverware & plates were available for us to use. Definitely take advantage of the paddles boards, kayaks & fishing poles when down at the beach. The property manager, Levi, was extremely kind & friendly. He taught me how to kayak & was very welcoming to our party. I would love to stay here again in the future & wish we had booked more than 2 nights. We got lucky the last night & were able to see the northern lights using our cameras. The hike up to the cabin was beautiful, I defiantly recommend going up there hands free & taking your time getting up as needed. 10/10 experience

Ben's place is awesome, perfect if one is visiting Portage or Seward, small cabin in the woods with lots of beautiful birds and kenai lake nearby. Ben is also very helpful incase one need something and friendly to talk too. Highly recommended if one is visiting Seward
