Blue Aggie - Tiny Home at Community First! Village

JeffreyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I recently stayed in a delightful tiny home on Airbnb, and it was everything I could have hoped for—cozy, charming, and full of character. The space was perfectly quaint, with thoughtful decor that made it feel welcoming and peaceful. Despite being compact, the tiny home was surprisingly comfortable, offering a perfect blend of function and warmth. There was a small issue with my original booking, but it was an unpreventable circumstance. The host was incredibly understanding and communicated everything clearly, offering me a smooth alternative by suggesting the Blue Aggie. I really appreciated their kindness and the effort to ensure my stay was still a great experience. I also love the mission behind this tiny home—it’s refreshing to support a place with values that resonate with me. As someone who is conscious of where I spend, staying here felt like a thoughtful choice. I would absolutely love to return to stay in Kasita in the future.

My second time staying at this property, different tiny home. I enjoy the atmosphere of the community and the tint homes are well maintained. I really enjoyed the extra private ensuite bathroom in this one!

The bunkhouse is a great rustic experience in the middle of a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and beautiful huge oaks. Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I would highly recommend staying here.

Tiny House 815 at MLF Community First Village

TessaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
For the one night we needed it it was an affordable stay and close to where we needed to be. Biggest concern was that we would have like to know it was a homeless community. Which we didn’t find out until we arrived and entered the space. It reminded me of my time in Europe Hostels so I was familiar with the setup but we still had our normal safety concerns with our vehicle in the parking lot and going to the bathroom facility alone. We definitely loved the concept and support the mission, but would have like a little more transparency with the community. Other than that the room was clean, facilities were clean as well, and amenities within the home were great!

Ruby - Tiny House at MLF Community First Village

BaoRating, 5 stars12 months ago
I’m so glad I took a chance and booked a tiny house through Airbnb and found out about Community First Village. What a wonderful program and nonprofit initiative. I was traveling to Austin with my 35 lb bernedoodle to see the solar eclipse and so pleased that the place was dog friendly. Frazel was my contact the entire duration of my stay and she was fantastic. My first night I found a dead bedbug and immediately sent a message which Frazel jumped to proactively address by switching me to another tiny house and sending in a crew to lock up and spray down the first unit. Fortunately, neither human nor pup were bitten and the second tiny house was lovely. Everyone in the community was friendly and took the time to talk with me about the different programs available to the village. I loved exploring the grounds which included a community market, various gardens, a lake, and all the housing amenities. What a meaningful stay. I plan to return again to support the cause.

Breezy - Tiny House at MLF Community First Village

TaylorRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Great value! We had an event at the Travis County Expo Center so it was only a 5 minute drive or $5 Uber. We watched a “movie in the park” on Friday night for free and it was awesome! They sold snacks. We didn’t realize that the rentals were immersed with the residents tiny homes, but we had no issues. Definitely a great ministry to support!

Cedar Creek Farm Cottage near COTA

We were in town for Super Lap Battle at COTA. We were traveling with a trailer so the property had enough room to park which was great! The inside was clean and cozy with plenty of kitchen, household, and toiletry items!

Bastrop Tiny Disc Golf Retreat

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was one of the best air bnb experiences we have had to date! The personal touches made you feel right at home. The hosts made sure you had everything you could need during your stay. They even did a little something special for my husband’s birthday! We had so much fun playing disc golf, cooking off in the cowboy pool, and relaxing on the property. We will for sure be returning in the future!

Cute Cabin in the Country

MeaganRating, 5 stars13 months ago
We loved this cute and tiny house! We felt right at home after spending our day at Sherwood Forest. This place was comfy and cozy and everything that we could have possibly needed was already provided such as washer & dryer, iron, shower needs, coffee, etc. We loved the eggs from the chickens and found joy seeing some of the animals that were near our airbnb. Sarah was an amazing and helpful host. I would recommend this place to anyone that would be traveling and staying the night in Elgin.
