Apartment vacation rentals in Barry Island

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this Airbnb last minute! It looked exactly like the pictures and had everything I needed. Atiq was super helpful and quick to respond, which made my stay even better. The flat is in a great location—just a 25-minute walk to town and only a 10-minute drive. Plus, there are essential stores and shops right on Main Street nearby. :)

Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed superb sea views, space and qaulity style in this fully equipped apartment. The furnishings and beds were super comfy, we loved the swing chair, power showers, garden and good wifi. Combined with easy parking, flexible check in and short walks to independent shops, restaurants and pier, the peaceful location exceeded our expectations. Helen communication was excellent, service focused, with a warm accomodating style, enabling us to add a guest at short notice. All this plus large welcome basket, created a homely relaxing vibe. Wonderful experience, highly recommend, thank you :)

Perfect location, really clean, amazing communication with Chris. The apartment was very spacious, really good size rooms and living area. Perfect kitchen with everything you need. Looks over Queen street station which meant you could see all the trains coming and going (my 3 year old loved this 🤣). The only thing I would mention is if your travelling alone with kids the check in might be a little difficult as you have to leave your car, get the key go up to the flat and collect the key fob for the car park. Other than that our stay was perfect and we will love to book again next year.

A cosy place to stay that is incredibly comfortable

Lovely flat, very clean and easy to use the heating / hob / oven etc. Parking space for the flat was fine, and lots of on street parking outside. Great location for exploring Clevedon - a short walk to the promenade and the shopping area around Hill Road.

Great location for the city centre. Close to the train station, rugby stadiums and around 5mins from the centre of the city. No car parking directly outside (which is to be expected with a property so close to the city centre) the property which could be a problem for some, however we were directed to near by streets and had no issues with this at all. Great bolthole to go out explore the city.

If you are lucky enough to be able to book in here then do it! Hosts were amazing and the flat was lovely. Perfectly situated for the city centre with parking literally right outside The flat is light and spacious with everything you need. a helpful qr code to scan with a welcome pack and local info too. On a personal note, the hosts were incredible. We were early arriving and they very kindly let us in, they even let us stay a little later in their parking spot so my son could get pancakes in the city! They went above and beyond to make out trip special and we will definitely be back.

Donna's place was super clean and comfortable. There were three of us and the open design and comfort of the kitchen, lounge, dining made it very social. There are lots of kitchen appliances if you wanted to make meals. There is a fantastic Indian restaurant (with great staff and food) within 3 minutes walk. Also a Chinese food takeaway about 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction. We had a rental car and parking on the street was not a problem and safe as it is a service road. There is one flight of stairs to enter the property. Would definitely stay again.

Shaun was very responsive, helpful and way to communicate with. The accommodation was very clean and had everything you needed. The collection of the keys was not the easiest but Shaun did help as much as possible

Stephen was in touch as soon as I booked to confirm a few details and came across as very friendly, helpful and accomodating. He arranged to meet us to check in and show us to our parking space and around the apartment. He gave us clear directions on how to get to Mermaid Quay and into town for the concert the next day. He made us feel very welcome and at home. His apartment is the perfect location to explore Cardiff and to attend Concerts at The Principality Stadium. I would definitely recommend. Arrons place was perfect to stay when we went to watch the rugby at the stadium. Walking distant to the city centre. Arron was really helpful and friendly and let us use his parking spot. Apartment was more spacious than the pictures. Wifi was great. Well worth it. Thanks Arron

Really happy with this find. The host was really helpful and friendly when communicating. The apartment was clean and tidy. The hot tub was pre-warmed, clean and easy to use. It was located in a small, very private garden area at the back of the property. Considering the property is located, essentially, in the city centre, it was really quiet and peaceful. There are nice trees and bushes surrounding the garden area which makes you feel out of the city and in the wilderness. It was a 12 minute walk to the train station which is essentially the top of the main street in Cardiff for restaurants, bars and the main shopping centre or £5 for a cab if you don't/can't walk. The apartment has everything you need and is a good use of space. A TV in the bedroom and living room. Plenty of furniture, without being cluttered. The front door is secure and leads to a hallway with clear signage of where to go. All in all, a great stay and I'd definitely return.

Great studio apartment with comfy bed, in a modern complex, just 20 mins walk from the city centre. Dean is friendly and helpful, and we were grateful for a late checkout. Kitchen well-equipped. Good shower. Quiet neighbourhood.

first AirBnB stay and picked a cracker. beautiful coach house on a perfect and quiet estate. friendly staff clear instructions. plenty of wood provided for the fire and the hot tub was warm and ready. would fully recommend and stay again

Very cosy place to stay with very impressive surroundings. We did the alpaca tour with the head gardener who was very knowledgable about the history of the grounds. Would highly recommend doing this as part of your stay. We also used the hot tub and sauna and again the head gardener was very helpful and attentive to make sure it was a suitable temperature for us.
