Vacation rentals in Barquilla

We had a family vacation at Jesse's beautiful farmhouse situated among the vineyards with breathtaking views and lovely yard and pool. It was a great home base for us as we explored the beautiful Duoro Valley and would recommend to anyone looking for a Portugal get-away!

What a beautiful experience. The town is so picturesque and the house was beautiful & comfortable. This was such a nice stay after being in the city. The house was a nice drive up from the Douro river and in such a cute, small town. Everyone was so friendly, there’s a market and coffee bar nearby we frequented. Beautiful view when you sit out in the morning & evening. We even went on a little hike right outside the house. Perfect, unexpected time, we hope to be back!

We really liked the Chalet. It has all amenities for a few days of rest. It's super comfortable. It matches the photos and description. We've received a lot of helpful information and recommendations from hosts, who have always been available to respond to and respond to our requests. There are a number of restaurants around. We're expecting you back!

Excellent hosting. The apartment is very comfortable with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, Cati was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, in addition to leaving bread, butter, milk, juice and several other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.

Luisa is a great host: very kind and friendly! She has surprised us with a rich breakfast full of local veggies from the garden and traditional bread from the region. Her suggestions have also helped us to come with a road trip plan for the next day. Very picturesque scenery, great views, comfortable, thoughtful and cozy house with modern equipment and stylish furniture. Everything was clean and functioned amazingly. We were more than satisfied! If we come back to Douro Valley again, we'd definitely make a stop there again!

We liked Humberto's apartment very much and was just the right choice for us half of our Portugal vacation to relax a little. The location impresses with a breathtaking view of the Serra da Estrela and it was very quiet. Clear recommendation from us.
