House vacation rentals in Banksia Beach

A high class homely entertainers delight. 4 generations of our family had plenty of room to be together when we wanted to, and also have separate areas for personal down time. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The pantry and fridge was well stocked, and the welcome basket of goodies, very welcomed! Jacinta and Michelle helped with instructions along the way, and the house has plenty of instructions on how to use all their fantastic appliances. The house is private and the area is quiet, so we were able to relax outside and enjoy the heated pool, relax in the outside chairs and lounges. There is so much to enjoy in this house. Amazing.

Such a beautiful holiday home - we were amazed from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The kids barely left the pool the entire time. We loved the aesthetic and decor - felt like home. Thanks so much - we will be back!

Andre greeted us as we checked in and was very friendly. Chatted for a while making us accustomed to the house and also gave great recommendations on cafes and restaurants. The house was perfect for our family of 4 young kids with a PS3: 1 large private master bedroom with separate his/her wardrobe and a large bathroom; 3 bedrooms for the kids; even an extra "guest room" downstairs. The dining area and kitchen was great as was the outdoor area with pool which we used a few times. Close to a shopping area that had Woolworths, Harvey Norman, Rebel Sport etc and also some great running/biking treks. Overall a great house.

Our whānau had an enjoyable stay at Dan's place. Ample room for 7 adults. Kitchen, dinning & lounge was spacious which was great no getting in each other's way. Even though it was wet most of our stay, we still made use of the pool to cool down as humidity was high. We had a great stay and would recommend Dan's place. Thank you Dani.

We are AirBNB and Moffat Beach regulars and this was the best place we have ever stayed in. Very well decorated with a beach vibe style and a feeling of tranquillity, yet only 2 minutes from the beach on a Bank Holiday weekend. We were greeted in person on arrival with easter gifts and a bottle of champagne left for us. The toiletries were top end and the whole place was spotless. Yes we would stay again and we will do. We loved staying at Ruby’s place! It was so cosy and homely inside, and each and every detail was so well thought out and really added to the luxurious feel of the place. The beds were super comfy with great bedding, and so many little extra touches making it really comfortable. Such a beautiful spot with the sounds of birds to accompany your morning coffee. We loved the area, especially the local pub for dinner.

Quiet location Very clean open plan home Beautifully large space in main bedroom incl air con was a godsend! Ample supplies in kitchen and shaded area out the back during the morning and half the afternoon. Close to everything we required! Fishing spots, boat club and loved to see an air bnb with recycling tubs and a compost barrel ( we took advantage of that to minimise landfill) I was very impressed to see no carpet throughout the property and the linen was not white! That’s something I think Gary got spot on! No white linen - I don’t like it as it may look lovely initially but find its too clinical looking in a guest home. We felt Gary and future users of air BnB property would benefit using and maintaining compost barrel and in turn keeping Gary’s herb garden well fed- All the foundations are there and what a great way to utilise an entire home and use herbs from his garden in turn providing green waste to feed them and Gary also having passive maintenance.

One word: WOW! I booked this place for my parents, but went out with them while they checked in. Brendon met us with bubbles to celebrate my Mum's birthday. He was so lovely, communicative, and welcoming. We were shown around the house and the property to make sure Mum and Dad were comfortable before I left them there for their relaxing weekend. The house is so lovely. Everything was thought of. Brendon put out a beautiful spread for them to enjoy, including a birthday cake, and there were plenty of provisions for them for breakfast and beyond. They relaxed in the pool, and the ac, and enjoyed the views. They saw wallabies on their walks too. Brendon made himself available to them should they need anything or have any questions. My only wish is that I could have stayed with them! Thank you so much for your hospitality, Brendon!

This was our second stay at James and Mette's place, and we had a great time yet again! Perfect for a family with a little dog. The local area is quiet but the house is still within walking distance of the bayside waterfront and the local shops (Woolies etc). This time around we had a lot less rain than our first visit, and we enjoyed a BBQ dinner under the festoon lights on the back patio. The cottage has had a lot of love poured into it, and it's perfect for a low-key but very comfortable beachy holiday :)

We had a lovely stay here. It accommodated our two families with 6 adults and 6 teenagers with lots of room and space for everyone to feel like they weren’t on top of each other. Kids loved the media room and the pool. We loved sitting and watching the water - and even saw a dolphin in the canal on our last morning. We highly rate the property and would stay here again!

Hidden Gem - this listing is an absolute hidden gem. If you are looking for a very comfortable, welcoming home away from home. This is the location for you. The beach is close and suitable for young and older ages. You are close to restaurants play equipment ect. Tamara is a lovely host who has a lot of local area knowledge that you can read at your own pace | leisure. BUT again very helpful. For a small family looking for a comfortable beach getaway; this listing is the jackpot. Thank you Tamara for sharing your slice of heaven.

I booked Sophie and Ari’s place for my dad and brother, who were visiting from overseas, and they had a great stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and as described. Sophie and Ari were fantastic hosts - friendly and very responsive, making communication easy throughout. Highly recommend their place to anyone visiting the area 🙂

The place was as described for the airbnb and it was a very comfortable and relaxing place of stay almost felt like home. There is aircon in the bedroom and cooling when sleeping at night. The kitchen had all the equipments needed for anyone wanting to cook. There is a Woolies 2 min drive away as well as a beach to watch the sunset. Alli provided great ideas and activities to do at the island and the instructions to operate things in the house was clear. Definitely would come back again☺️

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend booking this property. The location is perfect- a beautiful view of the lake and Twin Waters resort, and the beach is just a short walk away. Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. Our stay at The Palm & Pool House - Stylish Coastal Getaway in Mooloolaba was absolutely divine—exactly how I pictured it! 🥰 The house was spotless, beautifully stylish, and had such a welcoming vibe. The entry instructions seemed a bit complicated at first glance, but they were spot on and so easy to follow in practice—no stress at all! We had the best time soaking in the relaxing coastal atmosphere, and the cherry on top was the surprise cheese platter Robyn left for us in the fridge—such a thoughtful and delicious touch! 🧀 Everything about our stay was just perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back! 😊

We had such a wonderful time staying at Ananda House. Tucked away in the quiet forest, the House itself was so beautiful, spacious and peaceful. The kitchen was fantastic for cooking group meals to be enjoyed in the beautiful outdoor dining area. The rooms were so lovely with very soft bedding and surprisingly very sound proof. We also enjoyed the ice bath and sauna experience. We would HIGHLY recommend Ananda for group stays or a quiet smaller get away. There is everything you could want. I hope we will be back, thank you so much!
