Lake houses in Ballston Lake

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

Clean and unclutter! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Catherine was quick to respond to questions and left a book of helpful hints. Wish we could have stayed longer!

LJs place was exactly what we were looking for! We did some ice fishing which was better than anticipated. The house was clean and cozy. The rules were reasonable and LJ communicated timely. We will absolutely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

EXCEPTIONAL! We can't say enough about how perfect our stay was. The Lake House is amazing. Great view, cozy, super clean. You can't ask for more. Will definitely come back and recommend highly.

We loved our late winter stay on the lake - it was very peaceful and we had some great bird-watching opportunities. The art and special objects in the house made for a very cozy and beautiful environment. Overall, it was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was clean, charming and welcoming, and check-in was clear and easy. We loved the serene location and beautiful view of the lake. The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and stay comfortable. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Stephen is a fantastic host with a great spot overlooking the lake. We traveled with three kids under 4 and were very comfortable and welcomed very warmly. Anything we needed or needed to know, Stephen provided and then some. We all cant wait to come back! Thanks, Stephen and Co!

We had a great time! Jonathan was very responsive and answered every questions. Jonathan knew we were coming for fishing and since the weather was not cooperating he allowed us to check in earlier. His flexibility was appreciated by my husband who caught 3 huge bass the first day! The place is exactly how it is described. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Home is well stocked and clean. Great board game collection for fun evenings. Saratoga Springs is 35 minutes away for great restaurants and night life but plenty of local restaurant and pizzerias 10 to 15 minutes away. Overall great place with great host! We will definitely be back! Thank you again Jonathan for everything!

Great space. Great view of the lake. We stayed on a rainy April weekend so we didn’t get a full feel of the area, but the boathouse was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed our time. Got to hear a loon on Saturday morning - a rare treat for us. Christine was a great host. All instructions were clear and communicated in a timely manner. We didn’t need much while we were there, but she got back to us quickly when we did. One thing to note is the tap water (presumably well?) has a taste to it we didn’t like, but Christine left some bottled water in the fridge to get us started (and some muffins 🥰 - thank you!) and we picked up some more to keep us going. Not really a problem, but just a heads up for future guests.

We stayed at Robin and Andy's cottage so we could attend a concert at the SPAC which was closer then expected from the house.(20-25 min) Robin was a great communicator she tried to help multiple times on us finding a local restaurant. It was also nice that Robin had no problem with us bringing our 4 dogs which they all seemed to enjoy just being there. Note: It's a great area to walk or go bicycling and very peaceful and quiet. Our only problem was that we couldn't stay another day. Would definitely stay there again!

Mary's home was everything we hoped for. Her property was beautiful and serene. Stepping out into the back yard every morning to view the river over a hot cup of coffee was a wonderful way to start each day. There were many water activities available on the property for us to enjoy such as kayaks, tubes, and canoes, but it was also very cozy and relaxing enough just to sit in the yard and just enjoy the property. Firewood was also available. Everything we needed was already at the house (even board games), and the house was clean and tidy. Mary was available for any questions, if needed. My family and I plan on returning to Mary's property in the future. We are very thankful to have found Mary's place.

I recently stayed at a Lakeview cabin and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with stunning views of the lake right from the porch. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway for relaxation. The amenities were great, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serene retreat in nature. Henry was exceptional! He was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the helpful recommendations for local activities, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Henry's hospitality truly made our stay special.

Luke and Joy's cabin was very peaceful, scenic and private. The cabin has everything we needed and even had helpful tips posted throughout. We arrived after a good bit of snowfall, so we couldn't access the trails and the ponds on the property, but it was February after all. Short drive to local pizza and groceries and nearby Saratoga Springs. Highly recommend getting a massage at one of the many spas and getting dinner at Olde Bryan Inn.

We stayed here with a few other families with lots of young kids, and the space was great for all of us! Megan supplied extra pack and plays and high chairs, and with the already installed baby gates around the stairs, all of this made it more relaxing for the parents to let the babies wander and play without getting hurt. The older kids loved the race car beds and lofted beds with the climbing walls to get into the upper loft space - a really cool feature and where the kids played the most. We also used the movie theater room a lot and enjoyed the popcorn machine - a very nice perk!

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

We had a wonderful time at Erica’s place! We enjoyed the firepit and outdoor grill, while our dog enjoyed relaxing on the porch and running around the front area. It was very close to the river which you could hear anytime you were outside, adding to the atmosphere. Both in and outside the house, it seemed she had thought of anything we could possibly need! It was a beautiful cabin, fairly private and quiet, and just what everyone wants for a get-away trip. This was my first time booking with Airbnb, and she made our trip easy from the initial communication prior to booking until the final day when she offered us an additional day due to inclement weather during our stay. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxed trip near water!

Barbara’s peaceful cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery and right next to the lake. The cabin is also only a short distance from the Lapland skiing center and therefore an ideal location for all cross country skiing fans. Barbara was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We are hoping to come back in the summer

Stayed Wobbly Cabin with my sister to relax and recharge and it was perfect! The cabin is cozy, beautiful and has great amenities.

Loved staying here! It was super cozy and a lovely home away from home for the holidays. House is as described and very spacious. Fireplace makes it extra cozy when the weather got cold. Host was very proactive and responded to any question or issue almost immediately. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was the perfect getaway for our small friend group! Stephen and Rachel provided everything we needed and were incredibly responsive, typically replying within minutes. They even stopped by and helped with putting bins out for trash pickup. The space had all the amenities for quality time together, and the outdoor fire pit is definitely a highlight. This booking is located on a tastefully renovated 2nd floor of a historic home in a beautiful neighborhood near downtown Saratoga Springs. It’s spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The addition of some antiques throughout the apartment was very charming. The caretaker living on the ground floor was kind and helpful. The house is walking/biking distance to the Convention Center, downtown restaurants, shops, and bars. There’s a Fresh Market and a great coffee shop 5 minutes driving. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the kitchen is fully stocked. Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The hosts were very responsive, understanding and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here!
