Cottage vacation rentals in Ballard, Seattle

Thank you for the stay. We both enjoyed our time. And the beauty of the place. Found it very relaxing. And while we did not make use of all of the amenities, found all of it enticing enough to consider returning. For those of you looking at this to review, I have stayed at a number of places across the Pacific Northwest and this is definitely worth trying.

We had a herd of elk welcoming us to the neighborhood, it was amazing. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Couldn’t ask for better weather for our stay, thanks for taking care of the sunshine Sarah! We had a beautiful time.

Susan was an extremely hospitable and helpful host who was there to help with anything, the location was also extremely pretty and far exceeded what I had pictured initially. On top of that, Susan also made some very yummy homemade cookies which was the cherry on top!

This space is not big enough to list all the awesome compliments !! I was trying to find a unique scenario for my sister visiting from Ontario Canada, she only had a 3 day stopover. Cabin- Beach -Island getaway 30 mins from hm - dog friendly - hot tub - BBQ - clean 2 bdrm? Susan's place had everything! I'm a WA resident, but became a tourist, we visited every nook of the island, took every dog friendly opportunity, and tasted too many wines - never mind, no such thing !! (ha ha) The week predicted rain, and we anticipated "Wet Westcoast"... but we had an unexpected week of full spring sunshine, which just added the perfect touch. Susan's place felt like a comfortable cabin right away, and really did have every possible amenity we could think of. Very clean & fresh & the best welcome message next to her organized book of instructions and features. What a find ! Dogs had non stop "bunny & bird watching" until all hours. Eagles!!! Cedar plank BBQ salmon! 10 stars fabulous !

This location was above expectation. It was quiet and beautiful. There were great amenities with the club house as well. My kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and I enjoyed the games and hot tub. It was easy to walk everywhere. The accessible beaches and walking trails made this place one of a kind.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The space was very cozy and relaxing. Loved waking up to lots of sunshine from the skylight and hearing all of the birds chirping while enjoying a cup of tea and reading on the balcony. We enjoyed morning walks around the quiet neighborhood and loved the short walk down to the beach to catch the sunset. The kitchen was great for cooking some delicious meals together and loved using the bonfire and the small yard for some yard games. Lots of great short day trip options, we loved our visit to Finn River Cidery and planned our route to the Airbnb to go through Bainbridge for delicious fish & chips and baked goods. Vicki was very responsive and provided great recs!

This is (at least) our SIXTH stay at Oberon and it never disappoints. So many wonderful improvements over the years and we always depart already pining for our next visit.

The house and location were wonderful! Very clean, and a beautiful view! The space was comfy and cozy, and everything was there to cook a nice meal (except the food, of course). Loved the walking trails, and the easy access to the beaches. We had a great time and even scheduled another short visit for August! We highly recommend this home.

This is going to read as if I'm a paid advertisement but I assure you, I absolutely am not. What I am is a late 1900's born individual navigating all of the whirls and swirls of living life in these seemingly not-so-sane times with a partner, a Queenager and "puppy-cat." (IYKYK) Eli & co. welcomed us, accomodated us, and uplifted us. The space is exactly as it appears but the value comes from being made to feel safe and protected, and shown what is the true Spirit of Aloha. I cannot say enough or speak highly enough to convey our experience. THE nicest, most helpful people and a gorgeous, fun, cozy space. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay...and want to come back, FACTS!

We stayed for two months. Jon and Colleen were great hosts -- responsive, friendly, and attentive. The cottage looks in the pictures just the way it is. The amenities were very nice and we were provided with everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at this backyard cottage.

Really enjoyed staying in this home. The Host was very helpful and responsive. The location was exceptional for proximity to UofW. The surrounding streets were very quiet and safe. The walkability to nearby parks was a highlight!!

It was much better than expected! The cabin is nicer and cleaner than you can determine from the pictures. We were a bit nervous about the proximity of the cabin to the owners’ house but it was not an issue. From inside the cabin, you almost cannot see the house and it does not obstruct the view in any way. The beach is so accessible across a lovely lawn and so you almost forget about the owners that are right there. The owners were ideal—friendly but not obtrusive in any way. The stretch of beach is pristine. We fished and beach combed and just sat and enjoyed watching sea life and ships. It’s a long private beach area for the residents of the lane, and folks were mostly friendly to us. I would not hesitate to recommend Tanya’s place for a rustic escape that is close to home but feels so far away!

The Seaview Cottage was a perfect stay for my husband and I while exploring Seattle. We chose to rent a car for one day away but otherwise walked and used public transportation. We found it very easy to get around. We had everything we needed to whip up a few delicious meals at the cottage and the view was icing on the cake! We would not hesitate to book again and definitely would recommend others book it, too! We felt it was a great value for the money. Thanks again for a wonderful stay Sarah!!

Foster's cottage is our go-to place to stay for our visits with family in the area. The cottage has everything you'll need and is an easy 10-minute walk to a shopping area that covers all the basics like supermarkets, drugstores and restaurants. Cozy and well appointed. We'll be back.

Great stay in Elena’s cottage. Close to everything we needed and easy access to the freeways. Location was great, quite, and very private. Elena was very responsive and handled everything quickly and efficiently.

We highly recommend this Air BnB and will stay here for ALL future visits! Here are some of the great things: spacious, private setting, two block walk to the fun Main Street, comfortable, all needed amenities, SUPERB host!

Great location—quiet at night, safe, plenty of bus lines to get to & from different parts of Seattle. Beautiful small wooded area next door.

The beach side gem was the perfect location for the wedding we attended at Kiana Lodge. Cabin had a great deck to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon wine. Hot tub was a bonus besides the beautiful views. Paul was quick to respond to questions and provide local recommendations.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cozy, clean, and exactly as described. It had tons of natural light thanks to the many windows overlooking a beautiful garden—we loved watching the birds and squirrels each morning. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the location was perfect—close to several parks and just a short drive to downtown. It was quiet and peaceful, and having a dedicated driveway with always-available parking was a big plus. Highly recommend!

Lovely, full equipped Airbnb with everything you need for a short or long stay. Our family really enjoyed our stay on the Island and Debra was the perfect host.

Stayed at Driftwood Landing for a girls weekend and it could not have been a more perfect getaway. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. The views from every window are unmatched. We had a full weekend itinerary and ended up cancelling most plans because we just didn’t want to leave the views from the deck. I couldn’t recommend it more, and hope to come back again soon!

This house is STUNNING… it was exactly what me and my family needed. Best hosts ever, so communicative and went the extra mile. There were things we loved about this house and it was so cool to see a QR code that we could scan and purchase the things. I absolutely loved this spot.
