A lovely, dog friendly stay up north! Lots of cool art inside. Beautiful property! One of the top Airbnb stays we’ve had. We were in town for my sister’s wedding reception a few miles away at Lost Lake Woods Club, this was the closet location to the venue that allowed dogs. The place was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfy and bedding was very nice. Dogs enjoyed space to run around off leash. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely return to Autumn & Greg’s place.

Upon arrival, it was easy to find and easy to get into. It is right on Lake Huron and the beach itself is immaculate. The space was beautifully decorated and had all kinds of useful amenities. It was really cozy. :) Amazing experience! Will be back!

This home is a little slice of heaven. The view of the creek and all the trees is just what we needed for a change of scenery in March. The 4 seasons room with all the windows was the best place to hang out and had the most comfortable couch. The openness of the entire house helped us feel like we were all together all of the time. Being able to bring our dog was also a bonus. There's a door right on the deck with steps to the yard for the dog. She had a blast exploring the property! I would have thought that a place that allowed dogs would have had a dog smell, but it didn't at all. You'd never know that other dogs had stayed there. It snowed about 3 inches while we were there, and a snow shovel was left on the porch for us, which we did use. Anything and everything that you could possibly need was provided. I brought a few kitchen things I needed (like a hand mixer and kitchen brush for food), only to find that they had those items there! They literally provided everything!

My friend and I stayed at the little house with the yellow door for a weekend. It was the perfect home base for exploring the northern Thumb area. We highly recommend visiting Thumb Brewing, which is less than a mile from the house.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Margie and Chris were excellent hosts. The communication was great throughout. Clearly, things were thought through to make the guest experience as good as possible; extra pillows, blankets, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. They left pamphlets for the area sights to see, which was very helpful. The weather was hot the first night and cold the last night of my stay and Margie ensured that I was comfortable both nights - and even offered to bring over an extra heater on the cold night. It was a private, quiet place to spend some time, but there is also a lot to do around the area within reasonable driving distance - Connie’s Cafe, which is only 7 minutes away, is a must visit. There is also Dinosaur Gardens right across the street which was pretty cool. The sinkholes and Presque Isle lighthouses are about a 45 minute drive away but are worth the trip if you like scenic drives, lighthouses, nature and plenty of Lake Huron views. All in all, this was a five star stay. Thanks, Margie!

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The house was cozy, well-stocked, and truly felt like home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the beach, which was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house even had extra beach items that made our stay even more enjoyable. We only needed to bring a few extra items since everything we needed was provided.

Dane’s house is a nice tidy place. Everything you could need and more was there for you. More than we were expecting for sure. Loved the firehouse theme! It was close to the trails and that was great too. We would definitely stay again.
