Vacation rentals in Bald Mountains

It was the perfect getaway for our family. It was secluded enough that we could enjoy the quiet but also close to a big store for our needs. The yard being fenced in was a bonus.

Driving up the road to the place was a little different especially at night. But we did get used to it. The nest was beautifully appointed with great decorations that made you feel like you were in a cabin. The place was outstanding, one of the better hosts that I’ve ever had interaction with. A few things that I would add to the property but all in all everything that you really need. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty as I was trying to do some work. Great location in Maggie Valley so close to so many things. If you definitely want to be up in the mountains with outstanding views, this is the place for you. The newly added outdoor fireplace was great to have.

Beautiful cabin and great location. Our family enjoyed our stay and the cabin had everything we needed. We were delighted to find a lovely Christmas tree in the living room. Nice back porch with mountain views. Comfortable beds. We were able to easily travel to many activities and day trips - Asheville, Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain National Park, Downtown Waynesville, and just a short drive down the mountain to visit Winchester Creek Farm. We hope to be back!

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate for us, it didn't diminish our stay one bit. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves from the time we got to the cabin until the time we left. The accommodations were great and the views from the mountain top were absolutely stunning. Will definitely be staying here again!

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!

My wife and I wanted to have a little get away for our 6 year anniversary, and we’re so glad we chose Julie’s place. It was super pretty inside and out, it was in a very quiet and relaxing area. Not only that but the view of the mountains and landscape from the sunroom, as well as the patio was absolutely gorgeous. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tub, and how relaxing it was to soak in it. I loved most how Julie is dog friendly and our furry child loved running around in the dog yard. We are most definitely going to be planning to return again soon. This house is fantastic. Clean and looks just like the pictures. The view is incredible! The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans and cooking utensils that you need. The living area is very comfortable and we thought the beds were really comfy! I would absolutely stay here again!

Erica's cabin was wonderful to stay in! We were looking for a cabin that was tucked away from the tourism but still close enough to drive into town/the national park, and this cabin did just that! The kitchen was a great size and came with all the cooking utensils you would need. There were plenty of pots & pans and spices if needed. The hot tube was a great amenity to enjoy after a long day of hiking, and the view from the porch was beautiful! There were also beach towels provided for us to use, which were very convenient. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen and all the bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay here and would definitely return!!
