If you are looking for a very clean, well kept, fully stocked and cozy home, then this is the place that you need to book. Jenn is a wonderful host and her communication is very timely. There was a storm the week of our stay that ended up putting us one day behind due to flooding. Jenn was very accommodating and quickly refunded one night for us. She could not get to the house to clean due to flooding but asked a friend to assist. We were able to get to the house the very next day and start our vacation. The house is stocked with extra beach chairs, bikes, an outdoor grill, toiletries and any kitchen item that you may need. Jenn was thoughtful enough to have bottled water in the fridge incase you had a long trip. There is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating on the patio. Under the house she has swings where you can enjoy the beach weather and beautiful views of the marsh. Our family has already planned on coming back again next year. Great spot in a great location. Giant kitchen and plenty of room inside and on the front porch. Kitchen was big enough to host Thanksgiving! Everything was just as advertised and very enjoyable.

my sister and i were out for family business, and the tin roof cottage was perfect for the two of us: spotless, private and super comfortable for our stay. if we're ever back to the holden beach/supply area we will absolutely be staying here again.

This stay was perfect for my two kids and me. It's quiet, private, airy, and beachy and is as described. The best part, however, was the fabulous hosts, who are welcoming, intelligent, and fun. We took them up on an extra--namely an excursion to an uninhabited island--and it was my favorite part of the trip. Later, Brian attempted patiently to teach us to crab while likely questioning the firing of our neurons due to my deft whacking of the crabs back into the water. While our bucket remained empty due to my propensity for crab driving, we left with wonderful memories. To their likely dismay, we'll be back! 😂

We just loved the Coral Cottage and Oak Island! The cottage was so comfy and cozy, and the location was perfect for us. The fenced in back yard was spacious for our dogs; we spent quite a bit of time relaxing there. Oak Island was the best little beach town we have ever been to, with amazing beaches and great eateries. We hope to return next Spring.

The house was as described! It’s very close to the pier and beach. A quick 4 minute walk to the beach. Walkable to a few restaurants and coffee shop. The front yard is fenced but there is no grass if you’re expecting that for pets. The beach access near the house has public bathrooms, which is very convenient. The beds very extremely comfortable and the house has everything that we needed.

Suzan was a great host and made sure we had everything that we needed when we checked in. The place was wonderful & super close to the beach!! She provided great recommendations in the binder & was very responsive & attentive!

Ocean Pine Cottage was a cute place to stay for two nights and Danielle was a great host. It’s the cleanest place we have ever stayed in that allows dogs. Our small dog loved the fenced yard and the accommodations for our furry friends is appreciated. If you don’t have a pet, don’t pass on this one. Other than the pet accommodations there is no sign of pets in this place. (No hair, no smell). It is convenient to many beaches and Calabash for fishing.

We had a wonderful stay in Oak Island. This was our first visit to the are and we will be back. Terri's place was a perfect location. We had first class access to a golf cart from a recommended company and drove that everywhere. I highly recommend this. Our dogs loved the beach and the porch at the house. Super clean and well designed for our family. Terri was very responsive to our questions. I was thankful she left detergent for us to do some laundry. We forgot ours. Highly recommend.

Roy was an excellent host. The house has beautiful architecture and has space for the whole family. We loved it and would definitely rent again.

Great place to stay for a larger party. The rooms were clean and as described. We came for a family reunion in the area and everyone was happy with this place. Would recommend.

My daughter ran the Oak Island Marathon. This house was a block to the start, clean, near the ocean and great restaurants. Kerri and Doug are great at communicating clearly and quickly. We would definitely stay again.

Shawn's place was very clean and description was accurate, and check in/out instructions clear and easy. Location is great for parents visiting UNCW and within 15 minutes to downtown as well as the beach, and an easy walk to get some coffee and bagels. We would definitely stay again when visiting Wilmington.

Great place to stay while visiting Wilmington. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Close to several of the popular districts.

This was our second stay at Reel Lucky! We have fallen in love with Holden Beach and it was nice to come back to a familiar place. Mark’s place is clean, great proximity to the beach and has everything you need. We especially love the backyard with the inlet and enjoyed fishing on the dock and sitting out on the porch at night. We would eventually like to have our own place at Holden beach but until then will choose Reel Lucky again and again. Thank you for another great stay!

Took my 2 young kids for a quick trip to Carolina Beach and Vanesa's condo was wonderful! The best thing was the location, right in the middle of all where so many shops and restaurants are and only a block walk away from the boardwalk. We never had to drive anywhere during our stay! The condo itself looked just like the photos and was very clean and neat. Vanesa was very responsive to all our questions and friendly. We will definitely be keeping a bookmark on this place for future quick trips!

We were so excited to find Suzanne’s place last minute. The place was beautiful. It was extremely well taken care of. The balcony was an extra room! It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable outdoor furniture. I loved all the plants-indoor and outdoor. It felt so warm and inviting. The whole condo looked exactly like the photos. This place was top tier in all aspects. I would recommend to anyone. We enjoyed our stay so much. When we are in this area we would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It felt like home. I really got a workout on the stairs, but that would not stop me from booking with them again. It was worth every step. Can't wait to book with you all again in the future!!!

Sabine was an incredible host! She reached out after we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabana is street view but nothing can beat being so close to the beach. A few steps and you are on the boardwalk where you can go to the beach or go to a number of different bars, restaurants, dessert places. Parking was never an issue in the garage and I always felt very secure having coded for all the entry ways. Would definitely stay here again - 10/10 highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again in the future. Perfect little spot right on the beach. Love the big balcony with a great view. I didn’t realize from the photos at first that the bed was so tall, could be an issue for someone older or with a disability but it was very comfortable. The pool wasn’t open for the season but it was pretty view. Lots of places to explore and good places to eat nearby.

We had 7 people—parents and 5 kids ages 11-24. The unit was clean and inviting. Tastefully decorated, but kept simple, which we liked for a rental. Even though the kitchen was not as modern as some we have stayed in before, everything worked well, and you could have several people in there at once, which was nice with 5 adult sized people in this unit. We could easily fit all 7 of us at the DR table. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nicely done. The deck was a good size, and the view was great! The closet off the deck had everything you needed for the beach, (chairs, sand toys, umbrella, boogie/skim boards, etc) and beach towels were provided inside the master bedroom closet. So nice to not have to bring all of that along! The access to the beach was wonderful, the kids could run back and forth without an adult along, if they forgot something inside. *The outside shower is by the pool.* The hosts were quick to respond throughout our entire process. The parking was not ideal.

This was a great place to stay! I looked up many places on CB and this was definitely the best. The view is amazing and it is right beside the drive able beach for 4WD vehicles. The Airbnb was spotless and we can’t thank Chris enough for being a great host!

Andrew was a great host! The condo was perfect for our family of five plus our dog. Very convenient and spacious. Andrew stayed in contact throughout the stay and any questions or issues, he was quick to respond and resolve! Would stay there again!
