Pros-1st time staying here and the place was incredible, feels like home. Clean & spacious. Seaview just perfect.. juz bit frustrated coz the weather was not on our side. Cons- bedding bit hard, hopefully can be replace with more comfortable

Fantastic stay. Room was well appointed and of an ideal size for up to 2 adults. Place was also very clean and the pictures match what the unit looks like in reality. The host is very responsive and proactive. Highly recommended.

Easy place to stay. Easy to get Grab too

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

I would say that the home felt very cosy and a quiet place for family. On top of the all excellent amenities and facilities such as bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, the host really pull an effort to make the place feels like home by providing indoor boardgames such as scrabble, carrom and congkak, which lighten up the moods for my kids. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommended.

The homestay was incredibly comfortable and looked exactly like the photos provided. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and as described. A great value for the money—highly recommended!

Enjoyed our stay very much. The host is very responsive to our needs. Totally worth the price. What we like is every bedroom has ensuite bathroom. Suitable for those who want privacy and peaceful ( very quiet) environment… Love the place. Totally recommended for those who wants privacy . But you need to have your own transport or else take grab..

Host is responsive and helpful, the house is clean and tidy. Rooms are well kept but the first floor has a musty smell. Overall good stay would recommend.

superb interaction with host who lives nearby. Pool is huge and overlooks Sarawak River. Not many users of pool. Condo is very attractively decorated and feels like home. Quick shot in elevator down to pool. Condo has view south to city - better than many others in this multistage development, whose views are completely blocked. Restaurants and shopping markets within easy walking distance. Downtown hub of Kuching is a 5 minute drive via Grab at cost of about US$1. South side of Sarawak River is more Chinese; north side more Malay. Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana wing has a rooftop bar. Newly opened Sheraton [Feb 2024] has a Japanese restaurant on the roof. 21 Bistro has live music downstairs, and attractive restaurant upstairs with no smoking. Borneo Cultures Museum is huge and well presented. Sarawak Cultural Village at Damai [45 minutes drive from downtown Kuching hosts longhouse models to explore and dance show. Enactors teach poison blow dart use to visitors.

This is the best homestay I have chosen so far. Complete equipment. and the room view is also very beautiful. I very satisfied and the owner also gave good cooperation. Will repeat next time !

Joanne was very accommodating to our request and her place is so homey and comfortable. Not to forget the view from the windows. We came with the whole family and we enjoyed the place so much.
