Wonderful small apartment with an excellent host. Located in the center of Miltenberg’s old town, the unit was cozy and comfortable, well appointed and well-stocked. It made for a nice base from which to explore. It was a nice size, in a peaceful location, and the location was convenient to everything we wanted to see. For the purpose of our trip it was ideal, with many little touches to make it special. Ulla was a wonderful host, and I cannot commend her enough. I had a problem with a misplaced bag which contained my medications. Ulla helped with the return of the bag and ensuring I had an emergency supply of medication. Throughout this she was attentive and supportive and did much to keep me calm and grounded. Our trip was memorable for bad reasons, and Ulla helped us and kept us focused on the positives. Thanks to her we had a wonderful time. This is a wonderful place to stay, and Miltenberg is a great place to visit, with tangible history and beautiful surroundings.

We stayed there for a few days and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice and in great condition, especially the fireplace was a highlight. We also liked the kitchen, super equipped and cozy. We had a good time and would be happy to come back!

Melanie's place was really perfect, beautiful and in impeccable condition! The hosts are very welcoming and available. We had a wonderful weekend in this large designer studio. I recommend it without hesitating.

We enjoyed the cottage there. Very well maintained. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. Tim is a very friendly man, we could go to him in case of problems. We will definitely go back there. Highly recommend!!!

We had a pleasant stay! We were particularly enthusiastic about the large, well-equipped kitchen – the coffee maker and oven were great. The pizza oven was also a real highlight! The bedding was very clean and smelled wonderfully fresh, which made for a really good feeling of sleeping. However, the property is in need of renovation in some areas: there are broken tiles, some cabinet doors are crooked or no longer close properly, and a drawer was broken. In the small rooms in the upper area, even the door frame detaches. Despite these beauty deficiencies, we felt comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and eager. We felt really comfortable in the house and had a great weekend. The house is in a beautiful and quiet area and the hot tub outside ran for us without interruption. Just the thing for rather gray weather. The bedrooms are also a really good size. Clear recommendation.

Frank has certainly earned his super host designation! He answered questions before our stay, was very responsive and even offered us a late check out which made our departure much more relaxed. The house is wonderful, in a very peaceful setting next to the forest, but also close to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house, including a charming pool, ping-pong table, outdoor space for dining and lounging, and ability to cook and grill. Beds were comfortable and lighting great for reading. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a happy stay in the Schwarzwald!

Stay was perfect like last year, everything as described again, communication with Heidi and Frank was also great and exemplary. It was especially noticeable by the settlement of our nights, as some of our group have gone earlier and it is difficult to enter this on Airbnb, and the resulting very quick refund of a part. Also very much liked that this year the swimming pool was available

We had a wonderful week in Jan and Tine's house. The location is fantastic with views towards the village and forests. There was snow and the sun was shining. Fairytale beautiful! It's within walking distance of shops, the train station and downtown. The house is more spacious in real life than in the photos. The house has all the comforts. We were 6 adults and had enough space not to sit on each other's lip. Questions were answered quickly and kindly by Jan and Tine.
