if you're looking for a peaceful weekend, this is the place to be. Roshin was very helpful and friendly, made us amazing local breakfast and barbecues at night.

Stayed for 2 days, Mr. Kish was very friendly person and responses were very quick from his side, and Care taker Ramesh is super proactive, very nice guy and supportive, our checkin and checkout went very smoothly, place is extremely nice and very calm, peaceful and private. Very nice place for family get together parties and for friends and any kind of events. Very big bungalow and nice greenery around. Overall our stay at retreat was super awesome. Thanks to host Kish and care taker Ramesh .

Beautiful house within the greenery with swimming pool, outdoor fire pit and a badminton court. Care takers Faisal and Kelu were very welcoming and made our stay easy.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming heritage property hosted by the warm and welcoming Sahil and Sobha. Their hospitality was exceptional, and the highlight was undoubtedly the delicious home-cooked meals they prepared with love. The hosts, both talented artists, have beautifully infused their creative essence into the house, making it a true reflection of their personalities. Situated next to serene backwaters, the property offers breathtaking views of the sunrise in the morning—a perfect start to the day. Adding to the charm is a swimming pool on the premises, surrounded by lush greenery, coconut trees, vibrant plants, and a picturesque fountain. The heritage elements in the décor were captivating, making the stay an unforgettable blend of tradition, art, and nature. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and authentic experiences.

My parents and I had the most wonderful stay at Vindhya's place. The pictures don't do the place justice, it is absolutely beautiful. With the seaside view and breeze from the balcony(from each of the rooms!) and the beach just being a direct walk from the house, one couldn't possibly ask for a better place. The house had all the amenities as needed; and the caretaker Mr. Dillu was always available for any help, and very refreshing in his spirits and humor. Hope to stay again here, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful has-got-it-all getaway :)

Prasanth is great host and helpful in nature. he is friendly and provide all the guidance to explore the place. The place is clean and regularly cleaned as when requested in our long stay.

This property in Chakkittapara is a hidden gem. The property is right in front of the reservoir with beautiful views of the lake and the Malabar sanctuary. We had a great time swimming in the lake, boating and bird watching. The caretaker Manoj is very helpful and made us great meals. The breakfast is complimentary and amazing. The host was also recommended a fest happening in the nearby area. Overall a great stay. If you are someone who enjoys nature then this is the place for you.

All good in Akshay's place. But there is a loft bed above the kitchen and have to go up through the ladder to sleep. For younger people it may be a fun, but for elderly people like us, it's not only difficult and dangerous too particularly when we had to go to washroom at night. Kitchen utensils can be little more, like bowls etc, and atleast one pressure cooker, so that people can stay few more days comfortably. These are suggestions only. The balcony is superb with the nature. We loved it. it's very clean, cozy stay for one night. Akshay is very responsive and well behaved guy. We asked Kerala food for breakfast, he prepared it from home. (Chargeable). It was awesome. Thanks for being a good host. All the best.
