Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Awatere Valley

This place was so idyllic! We love how perfectly sized and full of everything we needed for a family holiday! I didn't need to bring a highchair or cot or toys etc. which made it so much easier for us to pack light and the kids (aged 1-4) absolutely loved the toys, games, puzzles, books...aaaand particularly the spa! Lovely location for walks, close to everything we needed. Our main goal for staying here was to relax and that is exactly what we felt we could do! Such a generous and friendly host Fiona was. Thank you!

Very nice place, clean and modern. The host was helpful and gave us clean towels every day. The kitchen is a little small for a longer stay but still functional.

easy check in, beautiful mountain ranges. close to the city centre with lots to do and great recommendation book (although some prices might be outdated)

Lovely stay here, easy to find and easy check in / check out. Beautiful apartment with everything you need with a short walk to the shops/bars etc. Very friendly welcome on arrival too!

Slyvia's place is a lovely retreat outside of main centre's. It is comfortable and private. There was lots of food made available for us (fresh fruit, muffins, crumpets, yoghurt, eggs, bread, coffee and tea, etc). it was well equipped and had little extras like bathrobes, which were very much appreciated! Sylvia and the family made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back. if you've never been to Wakefield, it's a lovely village that has a nice cafe/ restaurant and bar and also famous bakery.

We had an amazing stay at Waves Apartment 12! The location is perfect, with stunning views of both the sea and the Alps from the top floor. The apartment was incredibly clean, spacious, and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved enjoying meals on the balcony and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. It's also just minutes away from Kaikoura township, making it convenient. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Five stars!

Great house, with a car, the location is fine. It’s a bit cold in bedrooms with no heaters. Also there’s no shower gel or shampoo so we had to buy our own. Otherwise it’s a great house for family stays.

Loved this place, loved this town. Really cozy/comfortable home. Very well set up for guests. Well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. Loved the proximity to town and a walking track/ look out nearby. Enjoyed having access to the laundry. Highly recommend this home.

We needed a place to stay last minute and Mel really helped us out! We wished we had booked Bird Song Villa sooner as one night was not enough!! This property is so peaceful and lovely! We instantly felt right at home. The neighborhood feels very safe - quiet and very walkable. The house itself was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need! All the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen are clearly labeled which was so helpful. Would absolutely recommend booking this home. We hope we’ll get an opportunity to visit again sometime! The place was perfect for us! We traveled with a 1.10 year old boy and everything was really comfortable and nice. The surrounding was peaceful and beautiful and Shyamala was very responsive and nice. Thank you for everything!

5 stars all the way!! Just a jewel this place!! Soooo clean, renovated, spacious!! We were 2 adults and 2 children and we all loved it, comfortable beds!!! Well equipment kitchen!! Walking distance from great cafes and groceries. Definitely will recommend this place to others!! Thank you!!
