Gerrit’s place was perfect for our family gathering. It was near the lake and extremely family friendly. He was great was communication and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

I wanted this place for some R&R and it was perfect!! I will definitely stay again!! It was so peaceful. I have rented tons of cabins from all over the U.S and I seriously think it was the cleanest place I ever rented. I normaly dont use dishes etc that is in places I rent, but I did here. Everything felt clean. I felt at home. The scenery was so peaceful. I watched the wilife in the morning and sunset in evening. Worth every dime! Check it out!! You wont be disappointed.

We had a WONDERFUL time staying here. The only thing missing from the description was the BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the river from the balcony. Great house and great host.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The layout was perfect for us, with the game room on the other side of the house offering a fun space to unwind. The large kitchen island and well-equipped butler's pantry made Christmas cookie baking a breeze! We loved starting our mornings by watching the sunrise and relaxing in the hot tub right out front. Evenings were made extra special with quick s'mores around the fire pit. The Christmas tree added a festive touch, making our holiday stay feel extra cozy. The peaceful and scenic surroundings were the icing on the cake. We couldn’t have asked for a more serene and beautiful location. We hope to return and celebrate more holidays here in the future. Worked well for our stay while pheasant hunting for 3 days. House was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. Comfy chairs and classic woodwork in the living room. Garage worked will for our dogs and the entry worked well for storing hunting clothes/gear. Dogs are not allowed in the house. There were many TVs with ROKU access. Some network channels were not available, such as Sunday night football. Pheasants had to be cleaned off site. All bedrooms are upstairs with the main bath, which has only a tub. A second small bath off of the kitchen has the only shower. Neighborhood seemed safe and quiet.

I absolutely loved how clean it was, how responsive Michelle was. It was quiet and peaceful. Very close to the water, within walking distance. Felt like home and comfortable.

Really beautiful views and a very nice house. Walker valley boat landing is within walking distance of the house (half mile or so). That was very convenient!

We had a great time. Beautiful home. Peaceful location. It’s right outside of Yankton so it’s quiet but still close enough to run into town if you need to grab something. The hot tub was a big hit for everyone that stayed. We spent most of our time on the back patio and is perfect for gatherings.
