Our second trip back! Just the most relaxing place to be, with fantastic sea views. Andrew is a very polite and helpful host. The place has everything you need. Oven, cooktop, grilled plus Weber bbq accompanied by a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and lovely comfy bed. The covered deck is the spot to be! So very relaxing. See you on Trip 3! A special tranquil gem with lakeside access! A very private and quiet place to ‘just relax’ and recharge. I had a fantastic nights sleep and sat outside in the morning sun enjoying my breakfast. Chloe the Lab popped by to make sure I was all settled in (beautiful). The place is very well set up, well equipped and so very private and relaxing. Thank you Christa & Hank. This is the *perfect* place to stay. Only a 15 minute drive to Piha Beach— which was one of my favorite spots to visit (LOVED the Piha Store for morning coffee & lunch), and about a 40 minute drive to Auckland. Everything about this space was beautiful. From the stillness and peace of the rainforest, to the lovely architecture and interior design. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first visit to NZ. 🤍

We were looking for somewhere close to my daughters in an inner city suburb and this worked perfectly for us. It’s in a great area, close to lots of shops and restaurants. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect place for my brief stay in Auckland. Lovely location, walkable to tons of shops and restaurants in a beautiful, safe neighborhood. The guest house itself is really comfortable and peaceful, very nicely done. Very much enjoyed my stay here and the only problem was it was too short!

We stayed at this beautiful getaway and were able to enjoy a few days of relaxing in a beautiful part of Aotearoa . It was extremely private and secluded, a perfect spot for some peace and quiet whilst still being extremely luxurious and close to Auckland.

Loved stylish studio & indoor-outdoor flow, location & tranquil setting. Lovely bthrm products! Neat coffee machine & pods, albeit, I never took the time to figure out how to use. The only downside; When I was preparing for bed, I noticed small faded stain spots on the bottom sheet which prompted me to inspect the rest of the bedding. Upon lifting the bottom sheet partially to avoid messing up bed & having to make bed up again, I found an unacceptable amount of hairs, indicating that the mattress protector had not been washed and changed. While the sheets initially appeared clean, this raised concerns for me to inspect further. Cleanliness/hygiene/comfort, especially re bedding, is very important to me. I believe that thorough inspections prior to guest arrivals are crucial, particularly if cleaning services are employed. The lovely hosts remade bed the next day. The linen & cotton fibres didn't feel soft against my skin, felt a wee bit scratchy. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Prue's was amazing. Beautiful views and so peaceful. They were very understanding regarding a bit of misjudged driving!!!!! When we had a storm, Prue text to make sure we were ok..We had a wonderful stay.

Really lovely feel, loved the retro theme mixed with modern technology. Areas were nicely segregated from each other. The bathroom is a big thing for me and it was beautiful. Thank you and highly recommend this place. 🙏🏽

We had a lovely 2 night stay - quiet, private and tranquil with beautiful views of rolling hills and paddocks. Kelly is an excellent communicator and swift to assist. Everything is as described; the listing descriptions are well-crafted with honesty and integrity. Happy to have found this place and would recommend to others!

What an amazing piece of paradise! Modern and immaculate with everything you need for a private, peaceful and relaxing break. We will be back for sure and can’t recommend Hereford Cottage highly enough.

Easy to find, clean, and quiet. Just, what we needed for the first two nights in NZ. Important enough, there are two spades there, to go to the hot beach and dig your hot pool. Noel provided some fruit for us kiwifruit and feijoa - Thank you! There are so many things to do in the Coromandel area. We should have stayed longer, but so many things to see in NZ, so we said good bye to Noel too soon and went on our way.

Sam has a beautiful little spot in the Mangawhai hills. Everything was nice clean and tidy. Really enjoyed our brief stay here

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was cozy, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed in Michael's Cabin for 3 nights, unfortunately perfectly in time for an orange weather warning. We weren't able to do as much as we had hoped, but we can confirm the cabin is very sturdy and does not budge in even the strongest gales 😋 The cabin has everything you need and there is an outside cabin for bathroom and toilet. It's directly at the beach and the views from the cabin are really beautiful. Mike and Mark were great hosts and very generous. And if course Buddy the dog was a highlight of our stay.

The unit is basic, it has all your needs covered, the bed is comfortable, it is tidy. But this is about the serenity. You are up in the trees with a very peaceful and private space. It is an amazing place to decompress and relax - helped by the outdoor bath. I highly recommend this place to destress, relax and settle in with a red wine and good book.

Perfect little tiny home and Beautifully decorated and offered all the home comforts needed to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Highly responsive host . We booked the tiny home as a last minute requirement and got a reply within a few minutes . Very grateful we found this little gem would highly recommend.
