Vacation rentals in Athol

Our family has been going to VT in the fall for 25+ years. The usual house we stay in was unavailable and lead us to find this home. Upon arrival we were stunned at the view, it is incredible in person! We had 5 adults and two children o this trip and this home offered us so much space and activities. My father even noted how everyone had their own space to dow whatever they wanted at any point in the day. We utilized the amenities every day and my kids were thrilled to have all the games to play inside as well as a beautiful lawn to run around and play on. Just a short drive down the driveway you reach the water which we also utilized mulitple times a day. Overall it was very peaceful and felt like a retreat and now my kids prefer this house over the old one! Definitely hoping to come back soon! Also, the hosts were very communicative and responsive before and during our stay, we very much enjoyed our time.

Beautiful house with a very well equipped kitchen! The massive gas stove & double oven made cooking a breeze. The floor heating was great, and the dog-friendly household was a wonderful bonus. Overall, it was a super comfy stay for all!

This is our second stay at this location (different apartment in same building) and it was very centrally located and close to Mount Snow. This is a great place to stay in Wilmington.

A great spot. Very comfortable. Exactly as described in the listing. Easily accessible to the base by either a 10-15 minute walk or a frequent shuttle that leaves from the garage in the building. Very clean. Well appointed kitchen (we cooked all our meals in). Very helpful building staff. Would definitely stay again.

We traveled up from Florida to visit family in RI & MA for Thanksgiving and stayed in the lake house. After a very long drive, it was so lovely checking in to a bright, clean, peaceful house. Everything is brand new and well appointed. Jolene was so responsive on the week leading up, flexible with our arrival time and had great local recommendations. After we arrived she stopped by with flowers to welcome us. We lived in Rhode Island for 40 years and I had never been to that area of the state before! While it feels like a peaceful retreat, the little village center is about 2 miles away and has grocery, cvs, Dunkins, and a brewery among other things. We also drove a few minutes further to one of the oldest country stores in America. The fire pit was fun for the kids to make s’mores and we enjoyed playing all of the games every night. It was a great Airbnb stay and we will definitely be back again to enjoy it in the warmer weather!

This stay was an absolute gem! The host’s charming old house radiates character and warmth, with every detail carefully curated to make you feel at home. Her hospitality was unmatched—gracious, attentive, and genuine. Clear directions were thoughtfully placed everywhere, making the stay seamless and stress-free.

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a weekend stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Biggest thing is make sure you have AWD/4WD as the roads around are dirt roads and very snowy. My jeep however loved it. Very convenient commute to Mount Snow.

I've stayed at many rentals through various sights all around the world. Todd was by far the best with communication. He would reply extremely fast and was extremely courteous. The home was better in person than in pictures which is not often the case, The home was supplied with two welcome snack baskets, too many to mention. The basics like coffee, tea, sugar, etc. were on hand and in abundance. The home is furnished with high quality appliances, blankets, coffee mugs, etc. Attention has been paid to every detail and no cost has been spared in decorating the home.

It was a cozy and comfortable stay very convenient to Mount Snow. Technically walkable, but it wasn't really ski-in/ski-out. The free Moover shuttle left every 20 minutes from right outside the building, and was very easy to get to and from the lifts with.

You walk into Eric’s place and it feels like a home thoughtfully set up so that you can just walk in and be comfortable. It’s an “and, breathe” kind of relaxing, homey place. Eric was super responsive to any & all questions we had. We absolutely loved our time there and look forward to rebooking in the future!

First off, thank you to Norris and his team for letting us book a last minute eight day stay with them! As I was looking for a place, I wanted a private pet-friendly apartment that had laundry in-unit or in-building with a TV and free WiFi in a walkable area of Manchester with great restaurants and easy access to major highways for sightseeing in the city and beyond. Norris’s apartment checked off each and every box. My cat Prima loved bird and people watching from the windows within the unit. We had a great view of the city from those windows as well. Norris also provides a bellman’s cart to get your belongings into the apartment, which saved so much time and energy especially when you have a suitcase, litter box, cat food, cat accessories, and cat all in tow. We managed to get everything onto the cart, into the elevator, and upstairs in one go (thank goodness)! All in all: I could not ask for a better experience for our trip to Manchester and beyond.
