Miran Hive-cosy independent house with lawn space

ChristianRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic place with plenty of space! I was genuinely surprised by how quiet it was despite being so close to the highway and airport; noise was never an issue. The house has a modern vibe and comes fully equipped with everything you might need. Everything was spotless when I arrived. Nabajyoti is a wonderful host - friendly, welcoming, and great to chat with. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Guwahati.

Riverside Palm- Luxe 1BHK-Near Kamakhya/IHR-AC

AbhijitRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This Airbnb was an absolute delight. Mr. Ahmed, the host, was extremely cooperative and always responded within one to two minutes, which made communication seamless. He was very helpful throughout my stay and even allowed me to check in a bit early upon my request. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy and smooth, thanks to the convenient self check-in system. The place itself is very well maintained and perfectly organized honestly, even better than the pictures. The caretaker was also very helpful and always available when needed. You can choose this Airbnb without a doubt or second thought—I highly recommend it

Private Villa with Pool in Umran

ArijitRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Jessica was very prompt & responsive right from booking regarding many a FAQs. Appreciate the early check in, convey a warm welcome feeling & also about the host's flexibility. Stay was comfortable and very peaceful. People who think they need a Digital Detox, search no further. Hardly any network signal gets through, which I felt was a necessary element if you truly want to connect with nature, yourself or may be your tour. Place was well maintained including the pool, which was thoroughly cleaned. The property itself was pristine & tastefully decorated. And it gets even better after nightfall with the excellent lighting in a sustainable way, which created a warm ambiance amidst the dark woods. The Kitchen cum Living room was very thoughtfully built. Another notable mention is the restaurant that was recommended by the host, good food. Pinning this comment for those who seak out some personal time with their close ones, with very little distraction.

Camping Co. (Camper Van Tourism - Northeast India)

AbishekRating, 5 stars62 months ago
4 minute read disclaimer - writing this from office and have to run for a meeting. PL dont mind the grammar/punctuations /any other mistakes that are silly. ;) A lovely travel model by the camping co guys. this was my first overlanding trip and must say the experience was rich. I did a 9 day trip with my 3 year old and wife and in a line If I had to explain the trip I'd say my faith in humanity is restored. People in Meghalaya are so damn sweet and warm. The place is crazy safe. About the vehicle - It was a heavy duty xenon pickup and i loved driving it everywhere in Meghalaya. The camper on the top is kickass. Super warm and the mattress is really comfortable. 3 of us could sleep very comfortably. the mileage is great and the roads are good. The experience - Everyday is going to be a crazy one I can assure you that. It will bring out the traveller in you and by the end you'd start liking things which are more real . The Camping sites - they are ok. Some like the white water village have amazing stories and a location. The drive - its crazy. I loved everybit of it . Its gets more beautiful every day Here's a tip - towards the end we wanted to chill and relax for a night in shillong and i took the car inside shillong (even after anan adviced strongly against it ). At few places i literally had to park it and ask help from the locals to drive it out. The traffic is crazy, the lanes are small and the roads are steep. Driving here is for the pro s in the mountains. Bottomline, dont get into shillong with this beast. The circuit - I think i could have done this better . There's a place about 17 kms from shillong and it is here if you take a right you go towards nongkhunam , go straight mawlygnbna and left cherra and dawki. So i personally feel the ideal circuit would be this GHY - umiam lake - whitewater village (camp) - mawphlanur - nongkhunam (camp) - lake and canyon/waterfall in nongkhunam - mawphlang sacred grove - maulygnbna (camp) - caving (maulai caves - they are a beauty) , river canyoneering next morning here - jakrem ( i did not try this because i wasnt sure if the hot springs are a pool or a tap ) - cherra (camp) -weisadong falls - nongriat trek - stay at serene nongriat - trek back up - drive to dawki - here camp at darrang ( this campsite run by punhet. just go there and ask for him) - i did not do mawlyngong because everything here is only really clean and by then i had seen a bunch of clean villages already - shillong - chill here local sightseeing - gauhati - chill and local sight seeing and fly back home. Things i missed - Jowai (they say its beautiful), krang suri falls - again a beauty. The bamboo bridge trek ( some said it was great) . Things you must definitely try and some things to remember - try the pan chuna and the raw beetlenut here. Gives a kick, heats up your entire system. Cooking at the campsites - so therapeutic ( camping co guys provide a butane gas for only 999, im glad i carried it), talk to the locals - so freaking sweet. It was a privilege to learn their culture. For example here you see more men than women working because here the guy goes to the girl's house after marriage and women inherit the wealth mostly. plus they get land and money n all after the marriage(the boys). Carry a guitar or a good speaker. Music here sounds so different at the camps. Sing and dance with the fellow campers . See anyone looking like a hippe or with a big ass cam in hand, go talk to them immediately and keep checking where they are in their travels. This way we made a lot of friends who were ahead or in a different place and kept updating on what to do and where to go and not to go. Thumb rule, no matter how cold it is your tent is going to be warmer than the rooms. Stick to it. These guys im sure have done a lot of R&D on these tents. They are just mindblowing. The most comfortable tent i ve slept in actually. carry cash . dont overspeed , the roads are too beautiful for that. vegetarians , on the way to shillong eat at jiva veg, on the way to nonkhunam there s nothing much, on the way to cherra there s a a few almost half way up, on the way to dawki eat at kab bri war (or something) , on the way to maulygnbna there s nothing. plan food accordingly. try the shillong strain , its crazy. buy a tent lamp will be super useful . The season - i traveled in feb so mostly cold and dry. you cant see green grassy meadows but the upside is you can do a lot of caves. Here every season is different and comes with its own pro s and cons. I feel every season here is good to travel but the locals said October is the intersection of all goodness here. Support during the trip - The camping co guys are big on service. They have your back if you need help or if anything goes wrong . Camping sites (again) - give them a call one day before and on the day of stay call them again when you begin the drive. One of the sites sa i mike at cherrapunje forgot that i was coming and we had to stay at a hotel that night. Overall verdict - This was a crazy experience and i

The #1 way to travel Northeast India🌈 Camping Co.

RishsiRating, 5 stars64 months ago
It was an absolutely amazing experience with CampingCo. It was our first time camping and we can't wait to go on the next one. The cars were well maintained and easy to drive, tent is comfortable and convenient, the places that we went to were stupendous. We loved the flexibility that came with this trip unlike any other trip we have ever been on. Even if you don't want to stay in the tent or at campsites, the car is good value for money as it has good storage and is built for such places. Great concept and execution. Thanks team for this memorable vacation.

The Cabin by the Bayou

SnehaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was spotless, and it had all the amenities I had requested, making my time there very comfortable. The hosts couple - Mita and Dilip, were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. One of the highlights was the thoughtful decor in the room – the combination of wood and brick gave the space a warm, inviting feel. It wasn't just the room, though; the common areas, like the walkway and pond, added a serene and charming atmosphere to the entire stay. The location was also fantastic. The property was easy to find, with Google Maps providing a straightforward route, making commuting to and from the place hassle-free. Location was well serviced by food delivery apps as well. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!!

SamratRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The room felt like home. It had all the things that I would need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen had all the utensils for cooking, bathroom had all the amenities with extra towel and bathrobe. The property surroundings were clean and I had direct access to roof for drying my clothes. The host even had placed various spices, which i really appreciate. Overall I had a great stay. I would surely consider it again, whenever I visit Guwahati.
