Vacation rentals with lake access in Asbury Park

Had a wonderful girl's weekend at the 'Retreat.' The house was very comfortable and the layout was conducive for cooking, eating and hanging out. The beds were comfy too! The backyard is amazing and we wished the weather was more cooperative for outdoor time. Communication with Ann and Mike was extremely easy and timely. We would definitely stay here again. Katty was a fabulous host! She was easy to communicate with, was proactive in getting us all details needed for our stay, and was very friendly. The home was exactly as pictured and was the perfect place for two families of 4 to spend a week. We enjoyed having separate spaces to spend time- the game room and movie room worked especially well for our group. The accommodations were super welcoming. And the location right on the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking throughout the week and having lakeside coffee each morning. Katty left sweet touches- snacks for the kids and the parents! She was also super helpful with recommendations for restaurants, ice cream, beach info, etc. We’d highly recommend spending time relaxing at Katty’s place!

My friends and I had an incredible time. The house is exactly as listed and made us feel right at home upon arrival. Maneesh was extremely friendly and responsive, even taking time to contact me personally on the first night of our stay to make sure I’d reach out in case of any questions. The outdoor area is wonderful with a peaceful dock and a beautiful lakeside view and a great hot tub. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider returning in the future. I stayed here with a few friends for my 25th birthday, and the space felt like home! Shawn's listing was so cozy, clean, and private... felt like living in a house with all of my besties! Shawn was responsive, proactive, and checked in periodically throughout the visit. Check-in and out were seamless, everything was easy to find, and the temperature was comfortable; we made such a good choice to stay here!

We rented over Christmas to be near our family for the holiday. Upon check in there was the issue of a frozen pipe, but the hosts were very accommodating and set us up in the main house. Extremely clean, warm, and welcoming it made for the perfect holiday away from our home. My husband was able to whip up desserts in the kitchen for us to bring to family, the backyard was spacious and for our dogs to run and play, and my young daughter felt right at home as did the rest of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would be back again in a heartbeat and highly recommended!

Great location and house. It suited our needs perfectly for Thanksgiving week with family. We thoroughly enjoyed the musical instruments, records, games, and fire pit. The home is older but full of character and charm. It has excellent Wi-Fi for remote working. The kitchen is well appointed; we cooked several meals throughout the week. Walking distance or a quick drive to many great restaurants. Communication was quick and easy.

We had a great stay here and Kevin was incredibly responsive and friendly. His place was very clean upon arrival and was great for a short trip!

Our stay at Elena’s place was incredible. The house had every convenience, amenity and comfort we could have possibly asked for. There were so any fantastic touches from a welcome gift, to wonderful linens, towels, toiletries, kitchen needs and beach chairs and umbrellas. It was impeccably clean and so thoughtfully updated, maximizing every inch of space. The location was absolute perfection, literal steps to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. It was the ideal house for our family of four. Elena’s communication and responsiveness could not be beat and she communicated to us a number of times throughout our stay that she was available for anything we needed! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we look forward to returning!

I hesitate to say how great this place is because I want it for every time I am in NJ. With that said, this place is incredible and the hosts are the best. The description of the place may be selling it short. Most evenings involved sitting on the beach across the street watching a gorgeous sunset followed up by a quick walk or bike ride to several top notch local places for food, drinks, and fun (Al Ponte for Thursday and Friday night lobsters).

Wonderful home away from home. Clean, private and beautiful. Erica thought of everything and anything. I will be back to relax at this peaceful villa.

Great location. Walking distance to boardwalk. Parking can be tricky but hosts were super accommodating and flexible to help with parking or whatever we needed

Host was flexible when I needed some tweaks to accommodations. She was clear and open about other guests on the property. She offered extra towels or anything else needed. Stopped by to say hello and welcome me to the cottage. Neighborhood and lodging were as expected since I am familiar with the area. I will stay here again! Love the short walk to the lake and ocean and bagel store!

Stayed a long weekend. The loft in the house was a perfect kids hangout (9 & 11). The location was a few minute walk to the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pickleball and more. Michael was very responsive and helpful to allow us to get one good beach day in on a dreary weekend. Even with undesirable weather, it was a great vacation.

Honestly, just read the other 35+ Five Star Reviews. They are completely accurate. Michael was a great communicator, place was spotless, bed was comfy. We love Asbury Park and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and two kids. Loved the proximity to the beach. All of the neighbors were very friendly and overall the stay was very peaceful!

Host was fantastic and offered a late checkout without me even asking. Would 100% recommended to anyone staying in the area

Convenient location and responsive host!

We really enjoyed the stay here! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect supplies needed that sometimes you don’t have. Well stocked with towels and supplies. Spotless clean, private and very efficient for my family and pet. Gina was very responsive and we will def be staying here again. Great place.
