We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The care and attention to the renovation of this historic house is clear everywhere. Beautifully and comfortably equipped, the interiors are such a joy, we adored this house and would recommend to anyone looking for modern amenities in a characterful historic setting. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens, well stocked kitchen, wonderful views and a scenic location less than an hour outside Bergen and looking out over the quaint harbour, this was a really relaxing cosy location to spend Christmas. Would love to visit in summer too. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay in a nice home! Perfect for our family of two adults and three children. Extra nice with Christmas tree, Christmas decorations and Christmas snacks on the table when we arrived - two days before Christmas. Everything as expected and great communication along the way. We felt at home:) several shops right nearby and easy by bus or track to the city. Otherwise quiet neighborhood with nice view.

It's the second time we've been to Monica's place and it's been just great both times☺️! If someone is going to Bergen, we recommend going here. Very quiet place!

We had a great extended weekend at Arne's house. The house was beautiful, especially the view was stunning :) Arne was always immediately available and helpful with questions, we can only recommend a stay!

A great place to stay if you're driving from Bergen to Stryn! 30min drive to Bergen city center. the apartment is on the second floor so please expect stairs. everything is cozy clean and warm in the apartment, a lot of greenery, well equipped kitchen and modern rooms. Irina is super welcoming, would love to come again.

Vidar’s place was perfect for me and my family on our stay. The apartment was extremely comfortable and located in a beautiful and quiet area. Access to town was super easy with a choice of either bus or light rail - both very close. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. I recommend it highly!

Dear Gunhild, We sincerely thank you for the wonderful time in your apartment. From the beginning we really felt very comfortable. This is mainly due to the fact that you immediately feel that you care about the guests and their well-being. It started with the very warm welcome, even if it was already after midnight, and continued with the detailed tour of the spacious, cozy and very well-equipped apartment. We lacked nothing, neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen, everything was great! In addition, your always noticeable care: the fresh and well-stocked fruit plate, the free, filtered drinking water, your demand for our health, the rental of the umbrellas and the many nice conversations and and and and and. We lacked nothing! At most a bit of sun or at least snow, but for the bad weather in Norwegian winter, no one can do anything. Thanks again for everything!

We were very satisfied with the accommodation of the communication with Siv who was always very responsive and kind! The view from the house is breathtaking, the place is easily accessible even without a car. We highly recommend this place!!!

The apartment for Mathias is spacious, tidy and nice. We really enjoyed there. Mathias sent good information ahead of time, so it was easy to find. Here we are happy to wear again.

Great home and location. Nearby supermarket had a good selection of many items. Fuel station next door is a straight forward self service. About 1 hours easy drive to Bergen. Nearest decent restaurants and takeaways about 30 mins away in an area which had a shopping centre. Very cosy and fantastic communications throughout Thank you.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Big, quiet, clean and nestled into nature. We could not have asked for more. Check in and out was seamless. The information and instructions provided on this listing were perfect. The host was super responsive. I will remember Norway in large part because of this awesome place. Thank you!

Wow, what a gem. Beautiful accommodation, high spec finish, well thought out plan, good quality linen, loved the coffee machine. Hot tub links to music not that is was required with such an outstanding view from every angle. Glad we hired a car to travel to and from Bergen and surrounding attractions. I have never thought I would return to one destination as like to explore the next place however if I get the opportunity to stay in Knut’s wonderful accommodation again I most certainly will be. Great host came to visit as we arrived late at night. This is so worth what we paid & really is a place that I will not forget. Pure tranquility, privacy and I thank you for all the hard work that has gone in to making the hide away cabin so special.

We were allowed to spend two weeks in this cozy cottage. The place is a little secluded on a low-traffic road, with stunning fjord views. For two people with a dog, the space was completely sufficient and we didn't miss anything in terms of amenities. Check-in was super uncomplicated and the place was clean and ready to move in when we arrived. There is parking at the bottom of the street. Beautiful walking trails are within walking distance of the property. The roads were regularly cleared and were easily accessible despite the weather conditions, so that shopping/ gas stations etc. could be easily reached by car. The communication with the host was also very nice and straightforward. A clear recommendation for a relaxing time out. Thanks very much again!

nice ... nice place, nice cottage, beautiful view, beautiful peace and wonderful silence ... you can easily reach very interesting places and amazing views, and then rest in the cottage after the hardships of sightseeing ... a place worth recommending. We had a lovely stay at the cabin!! It's very cozy and remote - just what we were looking for. We also did a small hike in the surrounding area, which was quite beautiful.

Really enjoyed at Monica's place! The kids had a great time with a trampoline and playhouse, the dog warmed in front of the fireplace after long walks in the forest around, and we adults enjoyed the tranquility and silence. It was nice to also get to know the bush trolls ☺️

Like everyone said in this evaluation: if we had known how great this place was, we would have stayed a bit longer. The accommodations are basic but exactly as described in the ad. The views by contrary can’t be described. Simply stunning! And the Trine was so helpful in fetching us some wine and untangling the fishing line 🎣
