Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Asakusa

I spent the holidays with my family of 7.It was exactly as pictured in a large and nice Western-style building.The dining table at the round table was large enough to line up a lot of dishes.There were also large pots and pans.The host was very kind to respond quickly to questions in advance and trouble on the day. Disneyland is also within walking distance of one station and the station, which is very convenient, and I am grateful for a memorable New Year's Eve.

Maison’s place was a great place to spend our trip in Tokyo. Conveniently located, it is only a few short steps from the train station, which is one stop away from Ikebukuro station. The house itself was well kept and clean, and there was even a washing machine, which was helpful since we were there for a week. There was also lots of space, which is very hard to find in Tokyo! The hosts were very hospitable and allowed us to check in early on the day and were also flexible with allowing us to checkout late since we had a later flight. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a convenient location while also being away from the noisier areas of the city!

The sleeping room has a large space, there is a free stroller and baby chair, suitable for small children, Yoshi will provide car rental service, kindly help us to arrange, thank you for taking care.

The place is great, it is a house with 3 rooms, 2 metro stations very close which makes it very easy to move around the city, konbini very close too, the space of the place is quite as it is a house, we were 3 people, each with 2 large suitcases and we had a lot of space, if I return to Tokyo I would definitely repeat hosting here.

This was the absolute perfect place for a family to stay in Tokyo who needs to cook food because of food allergies, babies, etc. space was well organized, super well equipped and location was great to the train and rest of Tokyo. We’d love to stay here again in the future if it’s available!

Our family really liked the location of the pencil house. It's almost right next to the Shinjuku station, with a quick and pleasant walk, you'll be at the center of activities. If you walk in the other direction for a few minutes, you can get into small alleys with lots of local restaurants. The pencil house itself is cozy, very unique, and everything functions quite well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

This was a great place to stay in Tokyo. It was a nice comfortable space and the host was very helpful.

June was a great host. We were able to leave bags slightly ahead of time which was really helpful and June helped us settle in with local restaurant recommendations considering it was the new year and places may be closed. The apartment felt like a calm oasis in a busy city. It is a little out of town but once we oriented ourselves it is very well positioned. There was ample space for our family of two adults and two teens and the addition of the washing machine was great for the extended stay. The linen and apartment was perfectly fresh and clean, beds comfortable and a good sized TV plus good dining table made our stay very comfortable. Water pressure was great in the shower. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay for our trip to Tokyo for a family.

It was really a wonderful time staying in the apartment. The room is well equipped with all the necessary facilities. The location is in the heart of Shibuya where you can find everything you need for the trip.

place is close to the station to travel to and from the surrounding area is very easy and efficient. place was clean and would stay again during a future trip!

Letitia (Tia) met us at the station and guided us in. Her instructions and guidance were fabulous. The property was clean & comfortable and in a great location. Staying here gave us the opportunity to cook at home or eat out. It also gave us a chance to relax together as a family. Tia’s place felt like home for us whilst we were in Tokyo.

It was a simple room, but with the necessary amenities we needed, such as a washer. The toilet area was a little small. We were able to adjust to the space. We saw bikes but did not get a response back if we could use it. Bikes are needed in the area to get further into the city. We walked a lot. The location was very close to the Yõga train station, market, and restaurants.

A perfect stay for a few days in Tokyo! The apartment was clean and spacious with incredibly helpful instructions throughout. The neighborhood was centrally located but also very quiet and peaceful. The subway station and several restaurants were a short walk away. Masami was very communicative as well and left us fun snacks to try :)

Sho's place was in a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance to some of the best hole in the wall restaurants in Shinjuku. Also nice that it was near the Suga Shrine and Your Name Stairs. We had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone in terms of convenience and having Sho as a great host!

EXCELLENT property and location to stay in Tokyo! Spacious, super CLEAN, very well-decorated and welcoming apartment, very conveniently located in a residential area of the city. Mere minutes walk from a vast amount of restaurants. (see Toshi's recommendations in the Host's guidebook provided through his listing page) Spotless bathroom with a large SOAKING TUB, perfect after a day of venturing out in the city. The bath space has a clothes drying feature where you can turn on the fan and hang laundry to dry. (washing machine up on rooftop or a 24hr coin laundry within walking distance) There is ample closet space, linens and ear plugs. You will hear typical quiet residential noises as the day begins in the AM, and the train runs nearby but the noise was not bad at all. You'll need to go up a few sets of narrow STAIRS in order to get to and from the room. We cooked, gathered with family & friends and simply relaxed. My family felt right at home away from home. Great location with easy access to the train. Lots of restaurants and shops to make your stay easy. Very spacious apartment with very attentive host who makes sure you are well taken care of (even with some tasty beverages awaiting you in the fridge!) would definitely stay here again.

Andy was such an awesome host. Place was clean and quiet. Place is near restaurants and convenience stores. Around 12-minute walk to Kabukicho and Golden Gai. Just 3-minute walk Higashi-Shinjuku Station.

We loved staying at Jacob & Natsuka’s apartment!! Everything is exactly as described in the listing and the apartment itself is very homely and feels like a relaxing, calm space. The location is amazing surrounded by restaurants, cafes and thrift shops. Also very close to a train station. Jacob & Natsuka sent really great detailed instructions for arrival and our stay which was super handy :) thanks so much and we hope to stay again when we visit Japan!

Great stay, location and value for money are unquestionable.The washing machine and bathing place are also very nice.Just that the room wasn't as big as the pictures made it look good for a couple.There are also owners' sand beds that are easy to move out hoping the owner can improve on, and some fine corners have a chance as we need to be barefooted by turning on the underfloor heating.All in all the best house in Shibuya experience

Great location just outside the busy parts of the city but still close enough to the train station to go where you'd like. We like exploring so we walked all through Shiba park, then to the Tokyo Tower and ended up in Azadubai Hills for shopping and dinner. Great spot to return to recover from jet lag.
