It was renovated in 2024, a 100-year-old Japanese house close to central Wakayama. When you enter the entrance, a pillar that uses a giant tree will capture the guest. The traditional part is the stylish dining area and the oneboard table and bed made of local Kishu timber are the hospitality of the guests. The owner of the property is also the owner chef of the restaurant, and the many “food experiences” are optional. As a feature of Japanese houses, the winter is cold, but it is designed to be comfortable in the summer.There are heating and cooling facilities for the bedroom and dining room, so please adjust them.

There are no residences around and it is quiet.Recommended for those who value privacy!It is in a good location, about a 10-minute drive to Hongu Taisha Shrine, and a 5-minute drive to Kumano Kodo Shigawa and Kawayu Onsen, so it is a good base for Kumano travel. In front of the inn, you can enjoy river play, barbecue, bonfire, insect gathering, bird watching, stargazing, mountain walking, etc. We also have a kitchen and barbecue stove, so please only prepare ingredients. Relax with family and friends at this calm place to stay.

There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.

In June you can watch ire flies. All the rooms are made by Japanese special wood , Hinoki and sugi. The smell is amazing. This area is really tranquil and you will be able to make relaxed. And easy to get to Koya-san (40 min by a car)
