Awwad was an extremely welcoming host and was very flexible when our arrival time changed. He was also very helpful and has a large collection of climbing information he has collected. The best part for us though, was the delicious traditional dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife. Would definitely recommend Awwad if you are staying in Wadi arum village.

Wonderful camp! with tasty Bedouine food, campfire, wide selection of interesting tours of Wadi Rum... We took both Jeep 3 hour and camel 1 hour tours, and we recommend both!

Salem is an amazing host who provided us such incredible and authentic bedouin experience. The desert safari was also full of great views and Salem took us in great spots to see and to explore. I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! Went with three friends, and the space was great for us four. It looks just like the pictures, and the balcony and private roof with a stunning view of the marina are simply amazing. The location is perfect, and everything in the apartment was clean and functioning well. Mohammad was flexible and friendly, making the experience even better. I will definitely be back!

This is a good launch pad for more adventurous travelers to explore Petra and learn more about Bedouin culture. Abdallah is a very responsive host and a Petra guide himself, so he had many helpful suggestions for our group. This is perhaps best described as a family stay, as you will have your own room on the upper floor but frequently meet members of his family who live on the ground floor beneath the unit, who were all very kind and welcoming. At the time of our stay, it was possible to arrange breakfast or dinner prepared by Abdallah's mother for an additional fee, but note there is no kitchen on the upper floor for making/storing your own meals. Also note that the neighborhood is home to many animals, so I recommend that lighter sleepers bring earplugs, etc.
