Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Appenzell Innerrhoden

We spent 4 great days here with 6 people! The house is beautifully located, offers a wonderful view and is ideal for hiking trips or simply for switching off. The house is very large and spacious, each of us had a single room available, there are also many parking spaces and a bus stop is right by the house. The large terrace with BBQ and beach chairs as well as the light-flooded dining/living room are the gem of the house. The in-house, well-equipped fitness center, together with the sauna, is the icing on the cake! The kitchen is basically very well equipped, coffee machine including beans as well as microwave and toaster available. Vinegar/oil and many spices are also very helpful. Glasses, cutlery and dishes, as well as knives in all sizes are also there. Large refrigerator with freezer and dishwasher also great. The cleanliness was okay but not outstanding.

We had a great time staying at Jeannine’s. The house is very cozy and the view around the house is beautiful. Jeannine is very responsive and gave us clear instructions.

Our short break was beautiful. Dolores and her family are very warm and loving hosts. Thank you for the wonderful time you gave us. We will be happy to come back to this place of peace and beauty, which has filled our souls.♥️♥️♥️

There were two of us in the beautiful part of Wendy and Sven's house. Wendy welcomed us and showed us the charming apartment in her Appenzell house. In the spacious kitchen we were able to cater perfectly, the fridge is large and there is plenty of dishes available. Great that there is also a dishwasher! Tabs, detergent, sponge, enough kitchen towels, everything available. Also plenty of towels and toilet paper. We didn't miss anything. We took beautiful hikes and had good food in neighboring Heiden. We also visited the Henry Dunant Museum in Heiden - very interesting! In the cozy living room, we were able to relax well and review our experiences. The ceilings and door frames are low because it is an old, very pretty, renovated Appenzell house, you have to be a little careful. We're looking forward to our next visit with Wendy and Sven!

From the moment we booked Thomas was proactive in reaching out and utterly charming. One of our group had to arrive early and they were very helpful with arranging that. His family next door were friendly and helped us choose somewhere to eat on our final day. Bonus cats in the neighbourhood and glorious decor.

We had a lovely family week in this cottage. It is small, but lovely small and it makes you feel right at home. Garden is beautiful, with stream cutting right through. It has two terraces, wood fired grill and lovely quite location away from neighbours. Location is superb as well to discover Lake Constance. Thank you.

The stay at Chalet Theresia was too short, as there were only one weekend four of us there for a short trip with the dogs. We were there for the first time and would have felt super comfortable for longer without any problems. Everything is very clean, great functional furnishings, especially the living room with the furniture and the cheminee is simply hammer-wise and also the location in the cul-de-sac and the great terrace fits. Landlord with a very nice and quick communication. We could very well imagine 1 or 2 weeks of vacation. Thank you so much we enjoyed the days

The chalet was extremely pleasant and cozy – we felt at home. The location is ideal: In less than 20 minutes we were on the ski slope by car. Great place, we'll be happy to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the middle of nature and felt very welcome. The view was beautiful and there were great excursion options nearby. Feeding the chickens, rabbits and sheep every morning was an absolute highlight for our kids and the apartment is perfectly equipped for family holidays with toys, child seat, changing table, baby bed, sandboxes, etc. We were also allowed to use the grill and were able to end the beautiful May days wonderfully. Speaking of sounds: The Toggenburg Sound Trail, which can be reached super quickly by bus and mountain railway, is worth a visit. Thanks, Andrea and Peter, for the hospitality. We will be happy to come back. :)

We spent two weeks there with our 7-month-old dog and were very satisfied. Super nice apartment with fantastic pool and large garden (shared with the owners and other residents), where you can relax. Good location for hiking in the area and excursions to Austria, Liechtenstein or even Bavaria. The hosts are helpful and available if you need to know something. All in all highly recommended 🙏🏻

Very lovely place with an extremely pleasant vibe. Even had a very friendly cat for company! The stay itself offers a lot of activities so I could easily stay much much longer 😊

We had a great time at the cottage on the Sitter. It is really very cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is idyllic. The communication with Claudia was always straightforward and friendly.

The apartment and especially the terrace have a perfect view of the lake. The lake can also be reached in a few minutes (Lago Mio). We were warmly greeted by Vreni and always felt comfortable. The apartment is well-equipped and looks the same as shown on the pictures. We were particularly pleased with the equipment of the kitchen (spices, pans, pots, toaster ...). The only thing that bothered us about the apartment was the creaking bed in the bedroom.

Jacqueline and Rolf were very friendly and helpful and I felt very comfortable in the circus wagon. It is a great place to relax and unwind and the highlight is of course the sauna and the biopool. With the bike, I was able to make great excursions in the area or to Lake Constance. Would recommend right away.

We spent five great days in Blanka's apartment, thank you again. The apartment has everything you need and is well-equipped. Also the pool is great. We will return gladly. 😊

It was just as described. Everything brand new and clean. Parking just in front of the door. Great view! Comfortable bed.

We stayed there as a group of friends after our Sealpsee hike. Petra was very kind, friendly and helpful. The apartment was as it is mentioned in the pictures ,it was very clean,beds were really big with clean sheets, kitchen was equipped with utilities. Small fruit and pastry plate and coffee was a nice gesture as well. Check in was really easy and straight forward, also the location is easy to find and if you have a walk in the neighborhood the view is amazing! It was a very good experience for us and all of us left happy. thank you to Petra and her team !

The space itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Exploring the nearby area like stepping into a postcard... Organic farm next doro, quaint trails, friendly locals, and breathtaking scenery at every turn. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with unmatched hospitality, this is the place to be.

Everyone felt very comfortable in this house and enjoyed the beautiful countryside in the evening.

It is a nice place with easy access to St. Gallen Flexible check-in is possible thanks to the key box. The rooms are spacious the bathroom is large. Questions were answered very quickly. The kitchen is for shared use. There were four of us on the road as a family, we had a lot of fun and felt comfortable.

The apartment is very nice and comfortable, quiet, equipped with all amenities, the host provided us with little consideration. Comfortable bed, very cozy environment, amazing view from the balcony.
