Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.

We had an amazing stay at this house! Everything was perfect. The house is exceptionally clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The location is absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. The sauna and hot tub were incredible, making our evenings truly special. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, always ready to assist if needed. The house is equipped with everything you might need for a perfect evening, whether you’re relaxing or spending time with friends and family. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. We would love to return in the future!

Small lake house

During our stay, two things stood out with equal magnitude, the generosity of Andre (his friends, brother and family), and the beauty of the cottage/lake. If south eastern Estonia is on your list, visiting the area should be on the agenda without a doubt. We stayed there for a week and have not yet scratched the surface. There’s a lot to do there in terms of hiking, cycling and exploring the hidden gems, let alone the daily swims in the lake and enjoying the sauna. It’s possible to have both a calm, relaxing time in the cottage, and a wonderful time experiencing the beauty of the region and the kindness of its people. We started the journey knowing that we would be happy to treat ourselves with this part of Estonia which we hadn’t visited before and ended up knowing that we will revisit Rõuge. Thanks Andre for making our visit special and see you again soon.

We decided to spend a week in Southern Estonia, and what a gem the Tinso house turned out to be. Firstly, compared to some of the sheds that charge nearly double the amount besides not having water and other commodities, Tinso house is in the five star league. The house has everything one needs and even things one wouldn't imagine, such as a cheese-grater. The linen, towels, basic kitchen appliances, pots and pans – it is all there. The surrounding area is quiet and lovely. The closest store is 10 minutes away and there are a few swimming places within a 15 minute drive. When we finally left, we were somewhat sad, as it was a perfect getaway location. Finally, a huge thank you to Ronald and his family for this wonderful place. Would visit again 10/10.

I was super satisfied with the stay! Everything is just like the pictures, and the view from the deck was even more beautiful when we arrived. Everything you need was there for a nice time, and the house is very stylishly decorated. There was a welcome drink waiting on the table when we got there and it was a very lovely gesture. And the nicest thing was that the barrel sauna was already hot when we got there. 10/10!

If you want to enjoy the peace and peace and privacy inside the forest, then this stay is a very good choice. Old outside, new inside - all the amenities you need for life are there. The host gives very accurate instructions and it's very easy to find the place. Google maps leads exactly in front of the house. Very satisfied!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming holiday house! The positive vibe of the place made our time there truly special. The sauna, combined with the cold plunge in the pond, was the perfect way to unwind under the starry sky. The breakfast was delicious. It truly feels magical. When I was searching for places, for me very important was that it would be close to nature and the space would be private with no view to other houses etc., and this place delivered both. Even though there are other houses in the area, it felt very private. The concept of the location is very unique, as there was a separate house for sleeping (the pyramid) and separate for chilling/sauna, our own bbq backyard, bridge over the river. It made us feel as if we had our own little village. And a really nice touch that the whole area was lit up with fairy lights, adding to the ambience a lot. The downside is the outdoor toilet but if you’re not too fussy about it, shouldn’t stand in a way of enjoying this place.
