Places to stay in Andersonville, Chicago

Great cozy spot near Wicker Park, Chicago. Easy check in and heather held our bags after check out before our flight. Be aware that this unit does not have a stove. Microwave and toaster oven were useful, though!

This is our second stay here. the location can't be beat and we will continue to stay here when we are in chicago. I will note that it is VERY loud. Depending on who you have above you can make it even louder. the pipes for the heat are also extremely loud. This doesn't bother us so much as we go in expecting it. This is also not the fault of the host at all and this airbnb and host are both still great!

Host was great and responded to questions very quickly.

Lizbeth is a very responsive and proactive host. She is quick to answer and she is very welcoming. I highly recommend her as a host! The house is very cozy and tidy as well. It is well kept and everything you would need is available in there. It was a pleasure staying there.

The house looked just like the beautiful photos & Jay was incredibly responsive throughout the visit. This home is located close to 290 to go downtown or further out to the 'burbs quickly. We needed a home to stay last minute, and Jay was accommodating to that as well - we were happy to find this spot with all the space we needed inside and out. As a bonus, we met neighbors who were very friendly.

Meighan's apartment is cute and thoughtfully, stylishly laid out. From the living room, bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/dining area, and lovely shared garden area, this was a really lovely space that was walkable, very homey, and refreshing. I commuted to downtown each day, and the walk to take the blue line was easy and close by. Meighan's bulletin board recommendations for nearby restaurants was great. I was able to find and use the 606 jogging path nearby thanks to a bulletin board brochure. Meighan was kind and welcoming to my dogs and me and it was so great to be able to bring them with me. Meighan responded quickly to my texts. Meighan provides a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator which I recommend using for you and your pets. My dog got the runs a few days into our stay and he has a sensitive stomach when it comes to water and old pipes. As soon as I started giving my dog filtered water his issues cleared up immediately, which also alerted me to drink the filtered water.

This is a great spot to stay in Chicago, the location really couldn’t be much better. Easy walk to red line which gets you everywhere you need to go, and it being a one way street keeps traffic low in comparison. That being said it’s not an alley or a sketchy area by any means. Walk right out 30 yards to your left to a good view of the Willis tower and lower skyline, or walk to your right for great shopping and restaurants in old town. It couldn’t be better. The place is nice, does get a bit chilly at night which is honestly ideal for sleeping, you will be sharing the one bathroom if you have multiple guests but with me and my family it worked fine. Thanks Nicole and Matt for a great stay on spring break with the kids!

Conveniently located, great location for U Chicago and south shore is visit. Host is incredibly friendly and responsive. The accommodations are just as described and perfect for a short or long term stay.
